Promo Box from Vistaprint is a new subscription box that sends you customized items each month. Each box will include 3-5 items like: Postcards, Embroidered Polo shirt, Tote bag, Mug, Pens, Smartphone case, Signature Soft t-shirt, Note cards, Banner, Flyers, Pre-inked stamp, Window decal, and more.

If you have a business (or just want to see your name on a lot of merch) this subscription could be for you!

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

When you are signing up for this subscription, you'll provide your business name, your tagline, logos, and other preferences. They'll use this info to make you a custom box!

The Subscription Box: Promo Box from Vistaprint

The Cost: $24.99

The Products: Each box will include 3-5 custom items like Postcards, Embroidered Polo shirt, Tote bag, Mug, Pens, Smartphone case, Signature Soft t-shirt, Note cards, Banner, Flyers, Pre-inked stamp, Window decal, and more.

This box came with a personalized written card, too!

Now, on to the custom swag!

Personalized Mug - Value $14

This is your standard ceramic mug. (Made in China.) I was SUPER excited to have my own MSA mug, but they way they broke up our logo to fit it on the mug is kind of killing me:

What do you think?

That design choice continues on to the next item:

Custom Oval Bumper Sticker - Value $4

This bumper sticker measures 5 inches across, so it's on the small side for a bumper sticker, but perfect for a laptop sticker.

Custom Postcards (Set of 50) - Value $10

I was most impressed with the quality of these postcards. They are printed on glossy card stock, and that price includes printing on both sides. (They put our address and email on the flip side)

One thing to note with all these designs, I uploaded our logo, but everything else is a design choice by someone at Vistaprint. (I wouldn't have used the BeautyFix + FabFitFun pictures that aren't ours on our postcard.)

Lastly, this box comes with a $10 Vistaprint Cash to use to reorder your favorite products from this box.

Verdict: I think this is a great box for businesses that want to test out Vistaprint's quality and see and touch products in real life before purchasing. The value of the items in this box works out to be about $28. Considering you get $10 to spend on a future purchase, I think the $25 cost is fair.

This probably isn't a subscription I'd keep for a long time though. I think it's better to see the quality of products over a few months, then stop the subscription and take control over the designs! (Time for me to go make the MSA mug of my dreams!) 🙂

What do you think of Promo Box from Vistaprint? Are you going to try this subscription?

Does the $10 have to be used on items in the box? Is it not able to be used with other promos? We do our business cards through VistaPrint, and when we do, we spend a lot but usually save way more than $10 with promo codes.

If the $10 coupon has to be used on stuff in the box and/or cannot be combined with other promos, it’s not worth $25 to get $28 worth (based on full price, which I never pay at VistaPrint) of stuff that I may not even like (especially if they messed up my logo). I wouldn’t want a car decal, as I own my own law firm, and since lawyers tend not to be highly regarded in most communities, I’d be afraid that it would be an invitation to vandalize the sticker and possibly even my car. (That’s also why I steer clear of political decals and bumper stickers as well.) I can’t imagine where else I might put a sticker like that.

I appreciate the review, though!

I’m sorry, but how is a sticker worth $4

Liz, I imagine if you emailed Vistaprint about the mug, they’d re-do it and send a new one. They have really good customer service (or at least they used to), and the logo isn’t correct.

I love my VP mug, by the way. I got a free one back in 2013 and used their wedding template picture (tux & gown) and put “Mrs. John Doe” under it (even though I didn’t change my last name after getting married). Someone suggested it for a cute ‘morning after the wedding’ photo, which I didn’t end up doing, but it’s now my favorite Saturday morning coffee mug.

I totally agree about the logo, I thought that was so strange!

I like the mug , the way they put My above Subscription Addiction, only because coffee mugs are kinda personal. But I agree with you that it should not be broken up in general.

They changed the shape of your logo, and made it look as if you had some deal with BeautyFIX and FabFitFun, which is unethical, as you said. #NotImpressed.

Liz, I love bumper stickers. That oval size seems to be popular(like those magnets). It is just the right size for my car! I think the mug could look much better.
