Seven Days Pearl Bracelet - Value $13.99

This white beaded bracelet has seven colored stones that represent each day of God’s creation. The bracelet is beautifully crafted and the colored stones are rich and vibrant. A wonderful way to remember God’s creation. The bracelet came in a burgundy suede pouch. This is appropriate for gifting if you chose to pass on to a friend. The bracelet came with an info card and the scripture, Genesis 1:1 NIV, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

This sea wrap bracelet has blue stones that are fastened with leather. This bracelet represents the “love and healing of Jesus”. This came in a suede gold pouch.

This hard candy was an extra in the box.

Verdict: Elevated Faith has a value of $28.97, which is above the monthly $19.99 plus $4.00 shipping cost. If you are looking to be encouraged and receive inspirational bracelets then this is the box. For $24, you receive two bracelets that are well crafted and fashionable. This month’s picks were not my style and I sized my wrist too large so the white stone bracelet was a little big but if I layer it with other bracelets it will work fine. The sea wrap bracelet fits fine but not my particular taste, it may grow on me. It was nice to go out of my comfort zone and try something new.

Too be honest, this box is kind of amusing in a ‘completely misses the mark of what faith is’ sort of way. I’m not sure how cheapish bracelets really elevate one’s faith just because they have vaguely inspirational meanings?

“Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.” James 1:2-3

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” Rom 5:1-5

I would hope that an ‘elevate faith’ box would focus more on telling the stories of martyrs or suffering Christians world-wide, or perhaps give advice on how to stand up for what we believe in our neighborhood or community. Or maybe it would contain books or articles on recent archeological finds correlating with Biblical people or narratives.

Or, if the box wants to focus on accessories, how about quality fair trade items made by Christian entrepreneurs in other countries who escaped persecution or suffering, along with a card giving their testimonies?

Nich, since Faith Box has resumed operations, will you be reviewing again? I would like to see a few reviews before re-subscribing.

Just looked over at faithbox – looks interesting! I’m not sure whether I would subscribe or not for the price, but their devotionals and impact booklet are definitely more in line with what I imagine to be products to elevate faith 🙂
