The typical delivery will have 2-3 items that stay around the same total value. Each item is a mystery without any type of theme.

This month's package included two small toys, puppy ice cream, and on-the-go bowls.

The humans get a little something, too - $100 to spend on wine!

Sea Turtle Plush Toy - Value $5-10?

I can't find this exact turtle online anywhere so I'm guesstimating the cost. It's super cute and the PERFECT size for our small dog, Buckles.

It has a corduroy shell and a hidden squeaker right in the belly.

Buckles was very excited that the turtle was bite size - he couldn't really decide which toy was his favorite!

Fish Plush Toy - Value $5-10?

Again, I couldn't find this one online, but it looks like it's the same brand since it has a corduroy tail.

It's a simple little happy fish with a squeaker at its center.

Buckles was really into this one - he even carried it from the photo shoot up three floors to store it away with his treats and toys!

Portable Pet Bowls - Value $3

I found a similar pair of pet bowls from Open Road on eBay, so I'm using that as the value.

You'll get two bowls to fold and take on-the-go.

They both come with eyelets, so you can easily attach it to a carabiner if your dog is an adventurer.

When you're ready to use them, simply squeeze it to prop it open and fill with food or water.

Puppy Scoops Maple Bacon - Value $8 on Amazon

The last item is puppy ice cream!

We haven't given this to Buckles just yet, but he did already "review" the carob flavor of puppy ice cream in the March Mini Mystery Box for Dogs - from that, we already know he's going to go bonkers for this!

Verdict: This box is doing such a great job with multiple types of items and easily breaking that $10 value! If you're looking for a few extra treats and toys for your pup, this is a low-priced option in the subscription box world. Buckles loves his new little toys!

Very disappointed in this subscription. Originally signed up for medium because my dog is 30#……but all I’ve received are GIANT toys. I tried last month to change to small but the change won’t take on my account. 2 ice cream containers arrived smashed and unusable. This month’s value is barely $10. Customer Service did send me the 2nd ice cream that also arrived unusable and promised to replace the large toy if I got another one. Haven’t heard back from them yet.

This was my first month and it was a great value! I ordered for a large dog – I have a 50lb pit mix. We received the ice cream, 2 treats from The Dog Bakery, and a duck toy. Easily worth the $10 it cost me. I’m positive the toy will be destroyed within a week because my girl sure can chew, but considering the ice cream itself costs $8, I still feel like I got an awesome deal. We haven’t tried the ice cream yet but Junie will eat anything I put in front of her so I’m not worried at all.

This looked like a great box, was ready to order but read the reviews and will skip this one.
Buckles looks like he’s enjoying his box. Love you Buckles 🐶💖

They don’t send the same thing to everyone, and they definitely send the best to msa. I cancelled after one horrible month and I feel this review is misleading and causing people to sign up for something that isn’t what’s represented. Sad to say that but it’s true in this case. Monthly mini dog was the worst customer service and the worst value box I have ever signed up for.

I received this same exact box. I think they have a different one for small vs. larger dogs.

Exactly how we felt about this company with the Dog box.The first 1 and only 1 had 2 toys that were almost twice his size. The treats in ours were something weird that I would not give him.I have an 11# Bichon and the items looked to be a better fit for my sister’s Huskies. I have yet to find a good Small dog monthly box.We have tried most of them and we have a size issue with every one of them. I am taking the money I would spend on the boxes and am going to the pet store to get him new toys and treats each month.

I have ran into similar issues having two 15 pound pups. When I renewed my Barkbox sub in July, the rep I spoke with said they were working on updating & adjusting their categories due to similar feedback. Just a heads up to be on the lookout!

Elle

I receive this sub for a Med size dog and this one would’ve been a lot better. I received 3 items; the turtle (which he loooooves), the ice cream(excited to try) and another stuff toy which is about 3 times the size of his head. Clearly, that was one is a dud.

This is my second month and both months, I couldn’t use 1 item. Might consider switching to the small dog size.

This so much better than the one I got. A bright yellow puffy rectangle toy with a ring, an iced cookie and a bag of hemp chews. Worst month ever. My dog feels like she is being punished!

JennyB

That’s the same thing I got, although my puffy thing was blue. No exaggeration, that thing lasted only 25 minutes. I gave it to my dog, walked out of the room and when I came back, there was stuffing EVERYWHERE! The carnage…

I love this box and so does my Bam Bam. Looks like we will have an aquarium full after this box. The purple octopus from last month, has to go to bed with us now. I am really looking forward to the ice cream, we’ve never tried that before.

This looks like a REALLY good value!!!! I’m really tempted to get this for my Beagle mix and Husky mix.

Wendy

Why won’t they come out with a cat sub at this price point!

Eliza_villa87

I was just looking to see if they had a cat version! I’ve got that mommy complex – can’t get for the dogs without getting for the cats too.

Wendy

Same here! A cat box wouldn’t be difficult, a mix of either catnip, scratching boards, brushes, treats, toys etc each month.
