Advent is a Christmas thing, it’s not related to Chanukah. Although it doesn’t really matter, this is coming from someone who celebrates Chanukah have purchased advent calendars for myself 😉

My five year old was bugging me the other day to watch Frozen and still looks up the sing-along Elsa videos on YouTube. She would love this.

Frozen is such a passe. My girls were crazy about it four years ago, the obsession all gone. If I get them this calendar now, they would not even look at it.

So don’t get it for them? I’m sure there are plenty of little girls that have only seen it for the first time. Just because the movie isn’t brand new, doesn’t make it irrelevant. My daughter’s favorite movie has been Nightmare Before Christmas for years. That movie is 24 years old, and they STILL make merchandise for it, and we STILL buy it.

Your girls are also four years older, which probably counts for a lot of that.

Disney knows full well where money is being made, and wouldn’t have made this if they didn’t expect it to sell well.
