The September box was themed "Marvel Knights". It really was based around the street-level heroes and villains in the Marvel world, like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Elektra, and Bullseye.
I'm loving this side of the info card this month - how cool are the Kingpin's papers here - and check out the FBI number!
On the reverse side, you'll get all of the details on the products in your box.
Bullseye Pin - Value $5-10?
I was happy to see them include someone who hasn't appeared on the Netflix shows - Bullseye (seriously, it's time to get him into a show)!
Daredevil Desk Tray - Value $15?
There were no wearable items in this delivery - instead, they focused on geeking out your office - it was a nice little change for one month.
The big-ticket item of the month was also one that was spoiled - it's the Daredevil desk tray.
It's two pieces and made of plastic. It's simple to just connect them to create your tray.
It stands about 6 inches tall and is about 4.25 inches wide - you'll be able to hold a decent amount of small items in here - definitely your keys, at the very least.
The stained glass window has artwork visible on the other side as well! Check out Bullseye, Elektra, and Kingpin on the back!
Luke Cage Mug - Value $10?
Admit it, you were saying 'Sweet Christmas' a bunch after finishing that Netflix season - it's always fun to hear words that you've been reading in comics finally get acted out.
Not only does it have his famous line - but it also shows off Luke Cage's classic gear from the comics.
It's your basic mug - but it does sport that classic Luke Cage yellow on the inside!
Alias Investigations Journal - Value $15-20?
Jessica Jones gets some representation with a 9.5x7.5 inch faux-leather notebook.
Pop it open to reveal a smaller notebook featuring Jessica Jones on the cover.
Your writing area is 8.5x6.5 - so just a bit smaller - but it also means that you can fit a number of notebooks in here if you'd like to swap it out.
It simply slides into the pocket - take this on on-the-go or switch it for another notepad.
Defenders File Folders Set - Value $10?
The next two items were items that I was probably over-excited to get - the first is a set of simple filing folders.
These are gonna get used pretty immediately for me - and since everything else in my office is geeky, why not my file folders?
I also loved the design on each one - with a silver that really pops off the page.
In the end, they're still basic folders - so if you don't have a use for them, you probably aren't excited at all.
Elektra Sei Paper Clips - Value $10-15?
The second item that I probably overly geeked out on are these mini sei paper clips.
Each one is 2.5 inches long - best paper clips ever.
Verdict: If you didn't have a use for office goods - then you probably didn't find much to like in this box. I have a lot of use for office goods - so this turned out to be much better than I thought it might be. My only complaint is that the big-ticket item of the box didn't really wow me - I was more excited over folders and paperclips - but in the end, I'll use everything I received this month, so it still had value for me.
