Now, on to the items!

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lip Color in Pink Bliss - FULL SIZE! Value $5

(Colors will vary)

This is a matte liquid lip color with excellent pigment and a creamy texture. I really lucked out on the shade, too. It's a little lighter than my typical go-to lip color but still works well for my skin tone. (Swatched in lower photo.)

Neutrogena Nourishing Eyeliner in Cosmic Black - FULL SIZE! Value $7.69

(Colors will vary

This eyeliner isn't an intense jet black, but it's a perfect eyeliner for everyday looks for me. It glides on smoothly and is almost instantly smudge-proof, too.

And it comes with a built-in smudger and sharpener:

Here it is swatched beneath the lipstick:

The lip color turned out to be long-lasting, too!

e.l.f. Wax Brow Pencil - FULL SIZE! Value $2

This is one of those products that I can't believe I didn't already own - it's so convenient.

I typically do my brows with a brow powder + spoolie, and this is the perfect way to just keep them in place - no eyebrow gel required!

Raw Sugar Lemon Sugar Hand Wash- 2 oz. Value $.60

This brand is one of my all-time favorite Target Beauty Box discoveries. Not only are their products ingredient-conscious, but their packaging and sourcing are done ethically as well!

And the scent! Lemon sugar may be the best scent ever.

Masque BAR Wrinkle- Reducing Mask - Value $3.50

This is a collagen-infused facial mask designed to reduce wrinkles and hydrate your skin. You’re supposed to leave in on for 20-30 minutes. I called it at 15 and was still happy with the results. My skin felt very hydrated after using it! (And I appreciate that the scent is subtle.)

L’Oreal Extraordinary Hair Clay System - 20 ml total Value $.25

This shampoo and conditioner set is formulated with clay to help eliminate oil. (There is also a pre-shampoo treatment that wasn't included.) My hair doesn't get too oily unless I try to go a day without washing it, so I didn't notice a big difference in this shampoo vs my regular shampoo, but I liked it.

Maui Moisture Shea Butter Shampoo - 3.3 oz. Value $1.75

Out of the two shampoo options, this one is my favorite. (And a great new brand discovery!) It's ingredient conscious and smells AMAZING! I just wish Target had included the conditioner to go with it!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $20.80. I think that's good for a $7 beauty box. And 3 full size make up items in very wearable colors? That makes this an A+ Target Beauty Box for me!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. This box has sold out. If you want to make sure you don’t miss out on the next Target Beauty Box, make sure to sign up for the My Subscription Addiction daily newsletter!

Value Breakdown: At $7 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Lipstick: $1.68
  • Eyeliner: $2.59
  • Brow Wax Pencil: $.67
  • Raw Sugar: $.20
  • Sheet Mask: $1.18
  • L'Oreal Shampoo/Conditioner: $.08
  • Maui Shampoo: $.59

I think this is the most pleased I’ve ever been with a subscription box–which is crazy, because I really didn’t expect to like it much! The L’Oreal shampoo/conditioner made my hair feel like a shampoo commercial, my eyeliner came in “Pewter” and is potentially my new holy grail (it’s well-pigmented but not too dark, and the shade looks fantastic with blue eyes) and the brow wax is exactly what I need to keep my brows under control.

Even the weird purple lipstick is fine/great to me (I needed something to wear with my mermaid costume!) and everything else is just gravy. I do wish, though, that brands would send their whole “sets”! I’m pretty disinterested in trying the Maui compared to the L’Oreal, since there’s no conditioner included. I’d be fine with a foil packet if I meant a chance to try it out properly!

Very pleased with this box for $7 bucks! I like getting the coupons too!

I got the box as shown. It was a great box for Target. The Walmart box came 10 days ago-it was horrible-just deodorant and 4 little samples worth 4-5 bucks total.Target definitely wins the battle of the cheap boxes this month.

Huh… I haven’t gotten either of my Walmart boxes yet?

I got the yucky blue lippie which stinks cuz I really wanted to try the brand but I’m not into Halloween at all so this will likely go into the trash 😞 HOWEVER, the L’oreal clay shampoo is my new holy grail! I absolutely loved how it made my hair smell so good and felt so soft. I have very oily hair and skin and this is the first time I’ve used a hair product that didn’t have my scalp itching like crazy and my roots weren’t oily at all even 2 days later! I went out and bought the whole system lol including the pre shampoo mask and the dry shampoo at my local Walmart store and it was under $20 for everything. The shampoo and conditioner are very good & large sizes too so I’m very happy that I was able to get this box this time around. I even talked my mom into a pamper night this Friday night and I’m going to use the sheet mask from this box on her 😊😉😍 if not for the blue lippie I’d be in heaven from a $7 box 😊😊😊

i am upset for all ya’ll that got a blue lippie!
noooo! i lucked out, this time-got the exact box reviewed…

i, too, wanted the “maui” conditioner, and the “loreal clay pre-treatment”…it just seems like such a missed marketing opportunity! i would gladly pay $10 for a target box that felt more…”complete”!

Got this for my daughter and she got the same shade you did, which works perfectly with her light skin tone. I thought it was a great deal and she was super happy with everything in the box, which is a rarity for her.

I’ve also noticed that if you use your Target card while purchasing, they still apply that extra 5% off, which is even better.

You guys! I got a horrid blue lipstick. It’s awful!!!!!!!!!

Mary K

Aaaand that’s why I didn’t jump on this box. I wanted the lipstick most of all, but just knew I’d get an unwearable shade. Would rather buy my favorite shade myself and save $2 .

Reply ButtonReply

Mary

Me too! So ugly!!!

Amy

Off topic, but shouldn’t we have received our Walmart fall boxes by now?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

the walmart boxes were supposed to be sent out during the 3rd week of september-instead of honoring current subscriptions first, walmart offered the box to the general public…i do not know if they oversold that, or what…but, there’s been issues for a few months with this box

walmart revamped the beauty box website, and changed the ordering procedure-it’s still the birthday date to determine which box you get, but if you want both, you have to create a new account for each box–otherwise, the 2nd box becomes a “gift subscription”, and you have to pay the full $20 yrly fee…

i have emailed CS twice-3 weeks apart-i was told “next week” both times

i like to know when the $ is coming out of my account-even $5!

(this is why i had to cancel “beautyFIX”…”every 30 days” is not specific enough for me!😆

I don’t think anyone has received Fall boxes yet (existing subscribers or new ones). When MSA posted that Walmart Fall boxes were available I created a second account so I could still get a “classic” and “trendsetter” box based on age….and they sent me another Summer box. Both of my accounts now (old one and brand new one) still don’t show anything for Fall boxes. And from recent posts on the latest Walmart post on MSA, it sounds like everyone has only been getting repeat Summer boxes….

Christine Martinez

I emailed them last night. They are being shipped soon

Karen

I didn’t realize it till you said it but yea where is the Walmart box at? I literally just got an email last week telling me to review my summer box. What’s taking so long???

Reply ButtonReply

Cars

I’m still waiting on Walmart box too.

Reply ButtonReply

Lily

Waiting for box to go on sale. Last month it went down and they would not do price adjustment.

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Box is already sold out.

Marilyn

While the box looks nice, just as well I didn’t get it. The two items of interest for me are the elf wax brow pencil and the sugar hand wash. For $2.60 I wouldn’t be getting much value –
and then I hear the wax brow pencil wasn’t in all the boxes!

But after seeing the review, I might go buy myself an elf wax brow pencil! A win for Target & Elf!

Jaymie

Ugh. I got a blue lipgloss. Totally not something I will wear!

Reply ButtonReply

julie

Layer it with another color. It will make your teeth look whiter.

MzBev

I got the eyeliner in ‘spiced chocolate” and the lip color in “be my baby” which looks kind of pink online but the tube looks like every other basic nude that we all have 100 of by now.
I’m very happy with the dark brown eyeliner! Not sure if I’ll use the lippie, it will probably go into the swap/donate pile. I wish I could take it to Target and exchange it for another color. Has anyone done that? It is still sealed.
Not surprised this one is sold out. It’s been one of their better boxes in awhile. I’ve skipped many of them this year.

Maggy

Yes, I’ve been able to exchange previous lip products from the Beauty Boxes for a different color. Just go to the return window and say you want to do an even exchange for a different color and that you don’t have a receipt.

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya

If I had that lip color, I would have liked the box. Mine was a bright, bright red. Ack! Everything else was okay. Meh.

Reply ButtonReply

Jamie

I got the same lip color shown, but I didn’t get the Elf wax pencil. Instead I got two eyeliners. Weird!

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

That’s a nice lip color, truly lucky. Too bad I didn’t want anything else in this box, and the lip color wasn’t guaranteed.

Reply ButtonReply

Kari

The lip color I received was a dark, dark blue/purple. NOT at all appropriate for daily wear – pretty much only ok for Halloween! No good!

Reply ButtonReply

JuJu

Gosh, someone posted a photo of it swatched on the Target site, and it doesn’t even look blue, just looks like mud. Horrible color.

Reply ButtonReply

Elena

I saw this swatch photo too. What a bummer!

Sienna

Me too. I just don’t do blue lips (or green or black, while we’re on the subject). Really wish they’d only sent out the more wearable shades. I’ve actually had my eye on Pink Bliss! Was hoping I’d get that one.

Reply ButtonReply

Rose Martinez

same here it was a dark blue

Dani

Jealous! I got the pink shade shown here. I have dozens of pink lipsticks and I’m dying for some wild colors!
