This box comes with a card detailing your items:

Now, on to the custom swag!

Printed Hat - Retail Value $17

This hat is unstructured, with an adjustable strap on the back. The material is 100% brushed cotton twill - very soft! But - big problem, it's such a shallow cap, that it doesn't really stay on your head! I do not recommend buying these caps unless they are for kids.

Notebook - Retail Value $10

This notebook measures 5.59" x 8.64" and has lined pages.

Sadly, this is another Vistaprint product I would not recommend. It is so flimsy! For $10, I'd expect a notebook that is somewhat sturdy - the cover and back are barely any thicker than the inside pages. This could be fine on your desk, but won't hold up in a bag, etc.

Stickers - Retail Value $4

I'm complaining a lot in this review, and I have one more complaint... Every month Vistaprint emails you and asks for feedback on your recent box. I've requested that they stop using this tag/chevron print they designed and instead try something more minimalist/modern.(And I've also asked them to stop breaking up our logo.) No luck yet on either of those requests. Kind of disappointing to continue to get a design you really don't like!

But to end this review on a more positive note, the stickers are well done - good print quality!

And each box comes with $10 in Vista Print cash to use on whatever products you like!

Verdict: I think this is a great box for businesses that want to test out Vistaprint's quality and see and touch products in real life before purchasing. In my case, this was good to know that I would not buy Vistaprint hats or notebooks! In general, I'd say you aren't going to get the perfect designs you want, but this is more for seeing what products you want to customize.

What do you think of Promo Box from Vistaprint? Have you had any luck getting them to follow design change requests?

I’m super surprised you haven’t had luck with telling them to change the designs/stop messing with your logo!

I actually put in feedback right when my January box was getting made – complete rebranding of the biz with color changes & all… They got the feedback late (which I knew was going to happen & figured no big deal I’ll get one more box with the old design & come Feb it’ll be the new stuff). I got two boxes in January. One with my old designs and one with new. I give them VERY specific info in that profile section though – Colors in CYMK format, fonts to use and what to use them for, but I’m picky like that lol.

I hope they stop being bums & start listening to your feedback! Do you give feedback on ever single box? I find that helps to really get it through to them to stop doing what you don’t like anymore.

I’m glad I found your website though so my promo boxes are never a real surprise – I’m a few boxes behind you so your Dec. box is going to be my Feb box contents. I love checking your page for the reviews/previews into what I’m getting next 🙂

…update…

i got my first “promo box”, & frankly, i was quite impressed!

granted, i got this first “promo” on…a promo! i only paid $5, not $25…so, there’s that…but…

wow! so impressed!
this was a little motivational booster for my nephew chace, who’s starting a handmade hemp & stone jewelry business…we had no logo, no icons, no nothing, all i did was tell my designer a color scheme–black & silver–a “style”–conservative–and a business name, & tagline–“MoonGlow by Chace” …”energized by the light of the moon…”–((it’s a crystals/stones thing)) & we received:
1. solid black tee, with the business name printed (very nice tee, super-soft)
2. 2 pens with name
3. 50 round black stickers with business name, perfect for wrapping jewelry with tissue!
4. 10 cards & envelopes, business name & tagline, great for thank-you’s or whatever!
5. $10 credit already added to my account, must be used in 21 days from receipt of box–(thinking about business cards with that…)

i am totally thrilled with this for $5…and, i love the super-simple, classic lettering and design of the stuff, will do some business cards with that $10, and i will let one more box come, at full price of $24.95–but, unless i get 10 tee shirts, i can’t see me keeping the sub…this was great, & exciting, but, how many stickers or notecards can i justify? that $25 would maybe be better spent renting a table at the arts & crafts festival…😻

I ended my subscription. I simply think it was “cheap” stuff. Stickers? A mouse pad when I don’t have a pc? And yes I asked for them to make some changes like give me something other than note pads, like perhaps a tote, hat, mug that people can see as a promotion and they just send sticky pads with a my logo at the bottom. I like Vistaprint for other stuff but not their promobox at all. I feel relieved I wasn’t the only one that thought it was sub par.

i’m super-glad i got this first box for $5, & i do plan on cancelling…that’s too bad, this could be a big help to start-up home businesses!

wish me luck, liz! i just got one the promo boxes for my nephew, who is trying out a handmade hemp jewelry business…i got the box for $5, on their site, just a couple days ago…

i kept it very simple, with no logo, just script, in black & silver, with the “classic” theme…

i figured it would be a way for him to see his name printed out, & get some ideas about marketing and such

i do plan to cancel, though
