First Impressions

March madness is here, and in more than one way! With state basketball on the horizon, and a shift in weather, life is a little crazy right now! With all of the things going on, to help keep me centered, I was really excited to receive this month's Wicked Good box. Focusing on all things spring, the floral tones in this month's box were sooo energizing! Read below to see what I discovered.

What's Inside This Box

"Le Jardinier" Perfume Oil Roller, 10 mL - Listed Value $18

What fun labels Wicked Good designed this month! With simplistic and chic black lettering and designs, this Le Jardinier perfume roller is giving off a French and antique vibe in a really fun way! Featuring the traditional steel ball, this oil rolls on easily and with just the right amount. With notes of Lemon Blossom, Kaffir Lime, Amber, Clove, and Sandalwood, this fragrance is giving off all of the spring vibes. A little fruity, followed by a light floral scent, this oil is long lasting and yummy when applied to the wrists and neckline.

"Flower" Perfume Spray, 1 oz - Listed Value $39

Adhering nicely to the "Marcheaux Fleurs" theme, this month's perfume spray also features the beautiful label and blossom scents. With notes of Angelica, Jasmine, Wild Orchid, Tuberose, Clove, Patchouli, and Amberwood, this spray is not as citrus-y as the perfume oil, and a little more on the musky side. Reminiscent of "White Shoulders" perfume, this spray is feminine, mature, and sophisticated in all of the best ways. Easy to wear alone or paired with the oil, this spray is great for a night out, even if it's not in the cobbled streets of Paris.

"Fresh Herbs" Soy Candle

If you have read any of my other reviews, you know I love candles! So this box was definitely a win for me! Contained in a small tin, this tea light sized candle features notes of Indian Calamus, Malabar Pepper, Coriander Seed, Egyptian Papyrus, Labdanum, Cistus, Osmanthus, Turkish Rose, and Spanish Cade. While I don't know what the majority of things even are, I can say that this candle burns easily and has a lovely light floral scent that just seems to kiss the air. Not overpowering, this small gem gives off a gentle glow in our small bathroom, and created an extra relaxing bath experience for my night of self-care.

Blooms + Bulbs Solid Perfume Tin

The last item we received this month was this small tin of solid perfume. Solid perfume isn't my favorite product because I prefer an easier method of application, but the fragrance notes in this concoction are some of my favorite. Featuring Bamboo Leaf, Celery Grains, Angelica Root, and Rose Berries, my nose is reminded of dahlia greens and dirt. Is that a combo one usually looks forward to? In my case, yes! I loved this earthy combination, and as I anticipate spring, enjoy applying a swipe on my wrists for a small sign of hope for the season to come.

The perfume spray and roller alone have a total listed value of $57, which is $24 over the cost of this month's box! In this box, each of the 4 items costs an average of about $8.25.

Key Takeaways

I have to say, this month's Wicked Good "Marcheaux Fleurs" themed box was one of my favorites of all time. Not only was the curation well-rounded, but I loved this month's fragrances. As I anticipate spring, these beautiful notes have given me hope that warmer temps are on the horizon. With a lovely presentation, I enjoyed lighting the candle during my afternoon soak, while dousing myself in the floral scents afterward. Wonderful alone, but fun when paired, all of this month's inclusions worked well together and created a very relaxing experience. I already am looking forward to the April curation.
