First Impressions
I absolutely adore kitty cats! In my 37 years, I have never known life without one, so when the opportunity to review the CatLadyBox arrived, I snapped it right up. The little gal that will be helping me test out this box is my 17 year old best friend named Miley Mae. She has been with me through thick and thin, and while elderly, is still as sassy as ever. Let's dig in, shall we?!
Although I love most animals, cats are where it’s at for me! I only have one precious feline, but I absolutely adore this subscription. Typically, our goodies arrive in a purple and white cardboard box, but this month’s shipment came in a plastic mailer instead. As noted in the enclosed message, due to rising shipping costs, non-breakable items may now arrive in plastic packaging. However, it sounds like the classic boxes will still be used for months that include fragile items. Even without the usual tissue paper, this package still felt like a special treat—one that could include anything from cat-themed jewelry and clothing to home decor and more. And if you subscribe to the Crazy CatLadyBox, you'll also get a few fun surprises for your furbaby, too!
Along with the items, this box also includes an info sheet, which usually features custom artwork on the reverse side. However, this month’s sheet was plain white with just a black title. I’ll admit, I miss the artwork—it’s something I usually stick on my fridge for a pop of fun and color!

It’s officially sweater season—and look what The CatLadyBox sent! This month’s shirt is a heavy blend Gildan-branded sweatshirt featuring the word “Caturday” on the front. This dark green crewneck is soft, cozy, and gives a subtle (but adorable) nod to my love of cats. The shiny green lettering adds just the right amount of flair, keeping the design simple yet super cute. It’s perfect for the changing seasons and was a refreshing change from the short-sleeved shirts we've been getting. I was definitely excited to receive this one!
Cat Lady Crossing Metal Sign - Listed Value $15.99
I love items that give a little nod to cats here and there—and this sign was definitely more than a nod! It features the words “Cat Lady” printed on a yellow metal background, with a cat silhouette on one end. While it doesn’t match my interior decor at all, I added it to our collection of metal signs in the garage, making for a fun, feminine feline addition to the most manly area of our property. A fun little inclusion that I wasn't expecting, my husband got a chuckle out of this sign and happily secured it to the wall.
Silhouette Cat Ring - Retail Value $14.99
The next item we received was a silhouette cat ring. This adjustable ring is designed to fit a variety of sizes and features a full-bodied cat on the top of a flat band. While the design is definitely cute, the materials aren’t specified—so those with metal allergies may want to steer clear. I appreciated the adjustability and thought the design was fun, but it’s not something I’d personally wear. Fortunately, I found a very excited 11th grader who was more than happy to take it off my hands and appreciated it even more than I did!
Scrappy Scarecrow Catnip Toy - Retail Value $5.99
Look at this month’s toy choice—perfect for fall! We received a patchy little scarecrow filled with catnip. The design is absolutely adorable, with a fun autumn color scheme that fits the season perfectly. Miley definitely seemed to appreciate the catnip—she cozied up to the toy on her bed. While she didn’t chase it around, she gave it a good sniff and even drooled on it a bit… which, honestly, I think is a pretty solid sign that she likes it!
Cornelious Cobb Catnip Toy - Listed Value $5.99
The last item we received was another catnip toy—and this one was even cuter than the scarecrow! Shaped like a little corn on the cob, it features an adorable face and even a tiny pair of glasses. Once again, Miley didn’t feel like chasing the toy, but she did sit next to it and gave it a good sniff—which is about as much interaction as she gives toys these days!
Oh how I love this pretty girl! While not as playful as she used to be, she sure is cute and snuggly!!

I love the variety of items and functionality, each and every item I received this month was loved and used!
