Pop Sugar Must Have Bag – July 2012 PopSugar Review

I feel like I have been waiting for this bag to arrive this whole summer!

The Box: Pop Sugar Must Have Bag

The Cost:  $35 a month (free shipping) for over $100 worth of full size products.

The Products: Must-have items from fashion, beauty, home decor, fitness, and more.

I'm actually pretty impressed by the "must have" bag itself! It's very roomy, has pockets for cell phone, lip gloss etc, and the material is high quality and machine washable!

Value - $5?

Body Quench Lotion in Pomegranate Crush - Value $7

Body Quench Body Scrub in Raspberry Gelee - Value $6

I have to admit, when I first saw these I thought the logo and branding looked a little cheap. Forcing myself not to judge too quickly I was happily surprised. I'm not a fan of the lotion smell but I absolutely love the raspberry gelee scent! It smells just like fresh raspberry jam.

RGB Nail Polish in Doll - Value $16

RGB Nail Polish in Minty - Value $16

I love this brand (the nail polishes have no formaldehyde, no toluene, no DBP, no formaldehyde resin, no camphor. are made in the USA and are cruelty free). I also lucked out with the colors! I can't pull off dark nail polish colors so you can imagine how happy I was to see two pale shades! 

Ilia Tinted Lip Conditioner in Bang Bang - Value $24

Ilia Lipstick in In My Room - Value $24

Unfortunately I won't be using either of these. The lip conditioner was great, but too orangey-red for my skin tone, and as far as the lipstick goes - I'm just not a lipstick person. One thing I thought was weird/misleading: the brand Ilia messages their use of organic ingredients, but they also use artificial color dyes.

Kind Bars - Value $4 Total

I LOVE Kind Bars - and I haven't tried these flavors before so I was really excited to see these in the bag. (They are my go-to gluten free travel food snack).

Verdict: I got about $100 worth of product for $35. I received 6 full size beauty items, 2 delicious Kind bars, and a pretty good tote! I'm sticking with Pop Sugar Must Have Bag, I've reset my expectations for the next box, and I'm looking forward to what the August theme might be.
