Julep Maven New Year's Eve Mystery Box - December 2012 Review

This month's Julep Mystery Box had the highest guaranteed value ever ($100 minimum value for $19.99) so it was impossible for me to resist!

Julep Nail Color in Cindy - Value $14

Julep Nail Color in Dendrie - Value $14

Julep Nail Color in ? - Value $14

The glitter polish didn't have a name and wasn't individually wrapped like all the other polishes. I'm guessing it's the exclusive mystery polish they promised for the box?

Julep Nail Color in Lauren -Value $14

Julep Nail Color in Annie - Value $14

I was so happy I didn't get any nail polishes I already had through Julep. I'm ready for spring/summer colors, so these last two are my favorites in the box.

Julep Hand Cream Packets (2)

Julep The Best Pedi Creme Ever! - Value $22

Julep.com Nail File

Julep Boho Glam Lengthening Mascara - Value $24

I'll use the pedi creme, but not the mascara - it's nice but not my favorite.

Verdict: Not even counting the little extras, this box is worth $114 - awesome! What did you think of your mystery box? Were you happy with the nail polish colors and overall value?

I have been reading your blog trying to decide which boxes to try, and I just could not pass up this mystery box. I am so glad I ordered it…..my box had some similarities to yours.

I received the same boho mascara, the nail file, and the set of remover pads and hand cream samples. Instead of the pedi cream, I was sent a sicilian orange foot scrub. The polishes I was sent are the mystery glitter, Cindy, Georgia, Sienna, and Stella. All of which I am happy to say I will use except maybe the Stella…I don’t think it will work with my skin tone, but it WILL make an excellent last minute stocking stuffer.

I am now more than convinced this is a box for me so I just placed my first maven order for a penny.

My box was almost completely different! Apart from the mystery unnamed glitter polish and polish remover pads you mentioned, I also received:
– 3 polishes (Isla, Portia, Hoch)
– 1 matte top coat
– 2 glycolic hand scrub sample packets
– 1 full-size tube of Julep Glow On hand brightner
– 1 reusable Julep shopping bag
