wantable subscription box - makeup sample boxes

Wantable now has two subscription plans - makeup and jewelry - this review is for the makeup box. I think when given the choice between makeup and jewelry I will always choose makeup!

I love this bright pink nail polish! It's perfect for a fresh summer pedicure - or I can't wait til it's sandal weather!

Eco Tools Naturally Beautiful Lash System in Everyday Length - Value $5.99

Confession - I have never tried fake eyelashes, but I've always wanted to! I think part of my hesitation comes from the idea of having glue that close to my eyes. This set by Ecotools might be the eyelash kit to finally push me over the edge. I love that this product is hypo-allergenic, formaldehyde-free and paraben and phthalate-free. I'll report back if I work up the nerve to try these!

Milu Beauty Amber Sugar Scrub Sample

At first I wasn't too excited about this product because of the packaging (totally guilty of judging a book by its cover) but then I smelled it - it's amazing! (The full size retails for over $60).

Verdict: This box was a perfect mix of surprise products pushing me out of my comfort zone, and classic products I can never have enough of (nail polish, lip gloss, eyeliner). I've been really pleased with how well Wantable builds my box to my preferences! Oh - and the value is amazing too - over $90! Have you signed up for Wantable yet? Have you been happy with your makeup selections?

Wow it really seems as it the Wantable Box is a real surprise because I received different products as well. I love the Cosmetic 29 products that I received and I just commented on the AQUA MASK that I received by MISSHA and it contained snail. I agree that I have heard they a super-moisturizing and the snail promotes skin cell renewal, but it just sounds cold and slimy, not relaxing. Has anyone had the opportunity to try it? I also received a beautiful neon rad purple nail polish and love the coral bombshell lip gloss. I do think the mascara that I received in blue made by Cailyn. It provides length without clumping and is superior to any other mascara that I have tried.

That Color Club nail polish shade is so pretty! I just posted the review of my March Wantable box on my blog too. I received completely different beauty products this month.

Oh wow, my box was TOTALLY different – same types of products but different brands, more earthy, lighter colors, kabuki brush instead of eyelashes. I got the sugar scrub too though!

I absolutely LOVED everything in my box – so much so that I wrote the company a thank-you email for being so awesome. I will wear every single thing I got in it – the colors are so me! Maybe for once this is a company that actually pays attention to its subscribers’ beauty style quiz answers!

I subscribe to Wantable’s jewelry box as well, and I’ve been really happy with the two boxes I’ve gotten so far. I was bracing myself for the jewelry to be cheap and cheesy, but the things I’ve gotten are fun and wearable and not Claire’s Boutiquey looking. I get compliments whenever I wear a lot of the Wantable pieces!

Bottom line is this is one of my favorite subscription box brands ATM. 🙂
