Coco Rocha Fancy Box Review - April Fancybox Contents

This is the first Coco Rocha Fancy Box, and I'm pretty pleased with it!

Coco Rocha Fancy Box Review - April Fancybox Contents

The Box: Coca Rocha Fancy Box

The Cost: $39 a month plus shipping

The Products: "I’m pulling together the most Oh-So-Coco items on Fancy into one box every month". Each Fancy Box will have $80.00+ worth of products.

(You can read all my Fancy Box reviews here).

Each Fancy box contains cards about each item. On the backside of each card is a note from Coco about why she picked the product:

L'Occitane Hand Cream - .3 oz Value $4

This little hand cream is actually one of my favorite items in the box - it's the best hand cream and I'm always happy to have a spare for my purse!

Rings & Tings Spike Bracelet - Value $11.05

China Glaze in Sun Worshiper - Value $7.50

China Glaze in Concrete Catwalk - Value $7.50

Despite subscribing to Julep and almost always upgrading to the full collection, I don't have nail polish in either these colors! Plus, I've never tried China Glaze before - excited about these polishes!

American Apparel Opaque Over the Knee Sock - Value $13

I was very happy to find these in the box - perfect for layering with tights and boots until the summer weather gets here!

Coco Rocha Fancy Box Review - April Fancybox Contents

The Little Dictionary of Fashion By Christian Dior - Value $19.95

Fred Cool Jewels Ice Tray - Value $9.99

I have a theory that every Fancy box will contain at least one of the following: Book, Shirt, and/or Ice Cube Tray. (No complaints about either of these items though!)

Verdict: One of my issues with Ashton and Pink Fancy Boxes has been that I have no idea why they chose the items that are in the box. I think Fancy is making some improvements on that front - in this box contained cards from Coco explaining each item - yay! I'm also happy with the value and the quality of the items - this box is definitely what I would expect from Coco Rocha!

I got the hand cream free from Disneyland Paris.

Mitos

I’ve been a Fancy box subscriber since they started so I actually pay only $30 but now they have all these exciting sponsored boxes! I’ve been interested in possibly switching over for hope of better items. I also have gone through some boxes with the “meh” feeling usually only finding one item I can actually use for myself. But sometimes they are great. My gift pile is getting BIGGER! Wishing there was a white elephant or some other venue of gift exchanging with other fancy box subscribers.

This is my favorite of the Fancy boxes (that I have received) so far! I could live with out the stud bracelet. It is too cheap looking for me. But everything else was fun! Love, love, love the ice cube tray. I know I don’t need ice cube trays with a modern fridge, but these are are so cute. Why not? I like the two contrasting nail polishes. With summer around the corner, I can’t wait to paint my toenails yellow. As for the over the knee socks, I’ve always wanted a pair! And for the book, Christian Dior is timeless. I can’t wait to read or at least peruse the book. You never know what tidbit of fashion advice you’ll learn!

I’m simply bummed about the fact that though I got billed for 2 months worth, I actually received 2 IDENTICAL boxes. I’ve emailed the customer service BEFORE the shipment arrived cos I was concerned.

They REASSURED me that it would NOT happen, alas it did.

So I emailed them again and am currently waiting for a response.

Other than that, I’m pleased with the items.

I honestly was disappointed with this box. The only things I liked were the book and the hand cream, which was smaller than what you would usually get at the store. I hated the cheap bracelet and the yellow nail polish. I will probably wear the grey polish though. The knee-high tights were okay…not sure if I’d wear them other than under my trousers for work. I prefer full-length tights with my figure. The ice cube tray was also just okay. I would have preferred some of the others offered on fancy more (ie. shark fins, titanic, etc.) For a model, I was expecting higher quality items than what I received. I don’t think this subscription is justified the full price of $39 a month plus shipping, especially when it doesn’t even add up to the advertised $80. I honestly loved the Ashton subscription this month in comparison.

I think I might have to sign up for this one 🙂

I love China Glaze. I actually think their glitter polishes are better than Julep’s and the rest are right on par.

I love all the products inside but this Coco Rocha box is worth only $73. This would be one I’d subscribe to but with the extra $17 charged for Canadian shipping I want to be sure it’s going to be $80 or more worth of product.

If my math correct this box doesn’t add up to over $80, right? I was so disappointed with the Pink box I got a good deal on the Coco box and I haven’t gotten it yet. It does seem a lot better but I don’t like the value amount to be different than what they advertise.

I complained about this issue and got a response from them less than 30 minutes later apologizing for my unhappiness and giving me a $25 gift card. So I suggest anyone who ordered this box let them know you are unhappy about not getting what you were promised.

Jeanette, where did you write your complaint?

I’m completely disappointed by this box. I was super excited to try the hand cream, but when I squeezed the tube, nothing came out! Not one drop of cream. I squeezed & rolled the tube completely and once again nothing! I don’t know what type of quality check measures they have, but this is complete BS!

Kim

I emailed about this issue and they responded that the box value was well over $80 and offered to break it down for me.
