Pink Fancy Box Subscription Review: Women’s Subscription Boxes – April 2013

If there is anyone who still has the umbrella from the April P!nk Fancy Box… I will gladly take it off your hands!!! This box is exactly what I expected from Pink, which is exactly why I DIDN’T subscribe to it. Either way I find this box to be WAY better than her last. I actually like the umbrella for some reason, but I wouldn’t use it. I like the bracelet as well and would wear it. Not really a fan of the cookie cutter or coloring book though.

I grasp that some people expected makeup and such be it that Pink is a makeup spokeswoman. So I can understand where people would be miffed about not getting makeup. But seriously, what did y’all expect for Pink to pick out to include in her Fancy Box? If you know her music, you know that she is a very edgy artist and that most of her songs are heavily edited (sorry to burst your bubble but that “less than perfect” song is really called “f*cking perfect”). Don’t get me wrong, I would be pretty annoyed if I received cookie cutters and a coloring book, but I would hardly complain about receiving “obscene” items from a heavily radio-edited music artist.

Her last box included a shirt with the word, “shit” on it and now this box with the umbrella. I get that she’s gunning for the edgy, unique, tough-girl image, but I’m not really into buying stuff that’s borderline obscene to the point when I can’t just use it anywhere or even regift it.

SO happy i cancelled my PINK subscription box. I was so disappointed with the first box she sent out, and this one really would have sent me over the edge. There is not one thing in here that I think is great, nor that I would be able to re-gift.

I have been getting the fancy boxes and they are a hit and miss. As of late I noticed the high cost items but stuff I don’t want. I’m glad I didn’t get either pink box. I do have to say that I would totally rock that umbrella. I just wouldn’t spend that much for it. I’ll pay shipping if someone would let me take it off their hands. Maybe trade for something I got in one of my boxes that I don’t want.

I don’t want one that has been in the trash but I am willing to purchase (incl. shipping) the umbrella from someone that doesn’t want theirs.

I LOVE all these things! I wish I had signed up for this box. I ordered Tyler Florence and Verbal, neither of which have arrived yet, but Pink’s box this month suits my tastes perfectly.

I really was disappointed (again) with the box. Coloring book and cookie cutter? What are we 8 years old? Bracelet was not my style but at least useable and made some sense. The umbrella was really way out there and in most all cases, not anything I would use or even give to anyone. No offense to those who really like the item. It just suits such a small niche and offends most. I have it in the trash but will pass it on to a true taker. I wrote Fancy and the reply was basically, no apology for being late twice and hope you like your food and Coco boxes. They cared less if I cancel Pink. So…I did and will pass along and concur the bad review.

I agree that the products here seem in-your-face and unlikeable, but you ordered the Pink box! What exactly were you expecting? I’m surprised it isn’t more offensive.

I consider myself to be a pretty open-minded person and was appalled by the umbrella. It seriously caught me off guard. And the coloring book??? Um no!

I agree with the umbrella (even though I like it and would have used it at one time in my life)…I just cannot use it at work or any of my daughter’s activities! She, however, claimed the bracelet (the only item I kind of liked in the box, but I wouldn’t wear it) and the coloring book (lol). I am not sure what to do with the cookie cutter. I used the $25 coupon to order the food box and canceled the P!NK box. I really feel like with all the delays in shipping and the not meeting my expectations items that I am just better off without it….of course, next month’s will probably be awesome!

I also got the Pink box and like you said, really nothing in the box was anything I like or want to keep. I convinced my husband to try wearing the guitar bracelet but the coloring book, umbrella, and cookie cutters I will never use (especially umbrella!)

Would love that umbrella — though I completely get why you wouldn’t want it! Probably too harsh of a statement for 99% of people.

I agree about liking Pink but not the things she likes. I do however love the Umbrella! If you need somewhere to send it I will give you my address. My daughter and stepfather stole my umbrellas so I could use one.

I agree with you. I just don’t really like these items. The umbrella is nice quality, but I am not going to go around flipping the bird to everyone! I’ll probably give it to my kooky brother. I cancelled my subscription and switched to Coco Rocha since her box seemed to mesh more with me.
