Fancy Food Box Review - June 2013 - Gourmet Subscriptions

The Fancy Food Box subscription consistently sends out lots of gourmet foods each month - and a few recipe cards! I definitely recommend this box if you are looking to discover new artisan foods, snacks and treats!

The Box: Fancy Food Box

The Cost: $39 a month plus shipping

The Products: Gourmet and specialty food and snacks.

Check out all my Fancy Box reviews.

Fancy Food Box Review - June 2013 - Gourmet Subscriptions

Morris Kitchen Ginger Syrup - Value $14

Rufus Teague Honey Sweet BBQ Sauce - Value $6.95

I've been trying to build out our bar, so this Morris Kitchen Ginger Syrup was a perfect find - so excited for summer cocktails! Also, I love a short ingredient list - this syrup only has two ingredients: ginger, sugar.

Salty Road Salt Water Taffy in Vanilla - Value $6.50

I love the packaging of this taffy - it looks delicious, but unfortunately it has dairy in it - so I had to pass it along to a friend! (Probably for the best as I'm guessing I would have eaten the entire box in one sitting).

Rick's Picks Hand Corn Vibrant Corn Relish - Value $10

Tin Mustard - Value $7

Thanks to subscription boxes I think we have every kind of condiment and rub for grilling! I might try this Handy Corn as a salsa too!

Gama Go Cool Pop Spatula - Value $10

Cookies N Cream Milkshake Cookie - Value $2

Normally I want food boxes to stick to food items - but this spatula was such a fun surprise!

Verdict: I paid $39 plus $7.95 for shipping for this box, and I received over $55 worth of fancy food! This is definitely one of my favorite Fancy subscriptions! What did you think of the June Fancy Food Box?

I got this exact box over a week ago, so I guess no extra cookies or taffy for me?
This is by far my fave Fancy sub box. I really enjoy the condiment picks! I’m a mustard person, and this mustard is amazing!! Used the BBQ sauce on ribs for Father’s Day- made a great rub and baked them ’til almost done, then liberally slathered BBQ and grilled to perfection. There wasn’t a rib left, and everyone was raving!
I have asked Fancy if due to my extreme disappointment with the Original box I could get the Food box at my grandfathered price (I’m box number 207!) and they have refused which is a real bummer!!
I have been buying the Food box with the promo code one at a time. I’m cancelling the Original and I guess I’ll just pay full price for this.
Again, that’s a disappointment, Fancy should have some loyalty towards its early subscribers-

Me three — I was fine with my original contents, but the arrival of an extra little package with more cookies and taffy was an unexpected yet welcomed addition. The is definitely my favorite Fancy sub.

Yup, I’m with Hugh. I got 2 more boxes of taffy and 4 more cookies in the mail about 3 days later. Look for yours soon, Liz!

They sent me extra cookies and taffy because they said they omitted it in the box
