Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Review – Women’s Subscription

Hmmmm, so I took advantage of Black Friday deal (or Cyber Monday – don’t remember) and subscribed finally to the JLH box……

I got this one. I like it – I like it better than what everyone else seemed to get for November. My hat is black 🙂 And its cold so even though I hardly ever wear hats – I just might wear this one…..

So, will my boxes follow the order of yours now? Or will I go on the same schedule as everyone else in December?

seems like so much overlap between boxes and I have just never been impressed by fancy, but the headphones are a nice colour at least!

I was totally disappointed with this box. I guess I had such high hopes, but none of these items seemed like anything I have every seen JLH wear. She is so glamorous and all of these items seem more hipster/grunge. And seriously – I don’t understand the orange hunting hat in the middle of June. Fancy offered to swap my items, but I just wonder if that will be just as much trouble as it was getting the box in the first place.

I received a return label with my Coco Rocha box for the first time with the receipt, so I contacted Fancy to ask if this meant we could now return individual items we were unsatisfied with and exchange them for something else. This was their response!

Looks like we can! The items I asked about were the hat and bracelet from this box. Hopefully this helps anyone else who may have received items from this box that were in another box or simply didn’t like an item.

I got those Verse headphones and the turquoise skull bracelet in my very first Fancy box, which was in December, so I’m reallllly glad I didn’t subscribe to this box. (I was tempted.) I would have been re-gifting these things and slightly irked.

And it also makes me doubt that Jennifer Love Hewitt had anything to do with these things. It makes me think that the people at Fancy looked in their giant closet of stuff and said, “Hmmmm, what extra stuff do we have left to throw in these boxes?” (Love you though, Fancy! I’ll probably never leave you! ♥ )

Those Simple Wayfarer Shades were in my (now canceled) Ox Box from The Oxford Clothing Company and promptly broke and got tossed in the trash within one day.

And HELLO, ORANGE HAT! Jennifer Love Hewitt must have been cold when she curated this box.

I did like the headphones and will definitely use them but, the other items seem cheap and just thrown in there. I was expecting completely different items from what JLH picked out.

That bracelet is absolutely adorable. I would definitely buy that for myself.

I was a little disappointed with this box. The only thing I liked were the headphones. I really don’t get the blazing orange hunting hat. lol.

Once again it’s disappointing to see that two items from this box were duplicates from previous boxes (the bracelet and headphones). Why does Fancy keep doing this?

Huh. I’m a current subscriber of both the original Fancy Box and the Coco Rocha Box. I’ve been very happy with the original so far, but on the look out to possibly switch from Coco Rocha to one of the other ladies (Pink or Jennifer Love Hewitt). I’m definitely leery to consider switching to Jennifer Love’s after seeing/reading your review. The headphones? I received those in my January Fancy Box, in pink. And the Turquoise skull bracelet? I received that in my December Fancy Box! Too bad they have such overlap. Those are two of my top 10 favorite items, however, and I do like the hat and sunglasses! But I don’t think I can switch if I can’t trust that I will already have received half of the box… Hmmm… Thanks so much for your reviews! They’re extremely helpful.
