New Beauty Subscription Box - Beauty Vault VIP

Beauty Vault VIP is a new subscription box service from Le Metier de Beaute. It sounds amazing (I've been very impressed with the Le Metier de Beaute eyeliner and mascara I've sampled through Birchbox), but the only unfortunate part of this subscription is that you have to buy an entire year up front!

The Box: Beauty Vault VIP by Le Metier de Beaute

The Cost: $29 a month ($348 one-time purchase for annual subscription)

The Products: 1 full sized item, or a variety of sample products from Le Metier de Beaute. The products will be a curated mix of Color, Skincare, Pre-release Sneak Peaks, Lab Previews, and Vault Exclusives.

Ships to: US only

FYI - it looks like this is a limited time offer to sign up for the subscription (sign ups end on 7/31, and the first shipment goes out on 8/1). I checked out the entire Le Metier de Beaute product line at Neiman Marcus, and it looks like most items are at least $30 or a lot more, so I think this subscription could be a good value - I just am hesitant to pay $348 upfront!! What do you think of Beauty Vault VIP? Do you recommend Le Metier de Beaute products?

Umm…I just bought it. Hope I get some good stuff! I’ll let you know if it’s any good when it gets shipped out in August.

Omg $348 on one time is too much for a one time purchase. Plus with that money, you could probably buy several of their products and choose which ones you want. I don’t know, it’s just too much for the average person to put up front. Unless I was millionaire, I wouldn’t really consider this.

I am passing on this also. The price is too high. There are only a few companies that I would want a subscription service from their line only:
Benefit, Too Faced, Tarte. I like getting a mixture. Also, I can only reasonably use so many products. I give a lot away, but still, at some point, another box is just TOO MUCH. I get 2 beauty boxes, plus PopSugar, Jewelmint and Julep. I get a couple of food boxes and the Concious Box too. I am narrowing down to only my favorites at this point to keep my total expenditures on subscriptions to $100 per month. If I were to fit something else in, I would need to pause or cancel something that is already going.

Man I would LOVE a box exclusively made up of Tarte, Too Faced, and Benefit! I would drop all of my boxes for that box! …okay, maybe not all. One maybe. At most two…
