Seasons Box Review - Eco-Friendly Subscription Box - July 2013

Seasons Box is a monthly subscription service that sends you luxury eco-friendly full size items each month. I think it's a great box if you want to discover beauty, food and lifestyle eco-friendly products. They kindly sent me this box to review.

The theme of the July box is "Get in Touch with Nature." It's a box made for enjoying all the outdoor time summer brings. One thing I noticed immediately with this box before I even opened it is that they have revamped their packaging. The previous boxes were wrapped in a bow and had a gift-giving vibe which I loved. The new box definitely seems more professional, and I think it is probably more eco-conscious since they aren't sending a wrapped box within a box.

Pure Vida Hippie Hair Ties - Value $10

I can never have enough hair ties, and considering they spend more time on my wrist than in my hair, I love the lace/crochet detail on these bands! The colors are perfect for me too. They were a little too tight around my wrist at first, but I was able to adjust them and now I have one  on my wrist as I type this!

Made From Earth Pure Aloe Vera Skin Treatment - Value $15

Bella Organics Dead Sea Mineral Mask - Value $10

I opened this aloe vera jar expecting to see 100% aloe gel, but it's actually a cream. I've always found aloe vera gel to be frustrating to deal with for sunburns since it doesn't really absorb into the skin, so this cream seems like a much better solution. (Hopefully I've gotten smarter about SPF and won't be experiencing sunburns anytime soon, but this is still good to have around just in case!) They recommend storing it in the refrigerator to boost its cooling effect and extend its shelf-life!

Also, I'm always on the hunt for eco-friendly/organic product lines, so discovering Made From Earth was a big win for me! I'm already thinking about buying some soaps and lip balms!

Wild Mountain Raw Foods Snack Mix in Lavender Moon - Value $3.50

Nibnaks Sundance Snacks - Value $2.50

I was so excited when I read the ingredient list for these Pocket Snacks: organic sprouted sunflower seeds, organic raw almonds, organic coconut, local raw honey, organic apricots, organic lavender flowers, sea salt. A short and sweet ingredient list full of organic goodness is exactly what I'm looking for in a snack. I would describe these snacks as granola without the oats - they had the right amount of chewiness and sweetness for me!

Verdict: I am very happy with the July Seasons Box. I like to think I'm becoming somewhat of an eco-friendly product expert (thanks to subscription boxes) but Seasons Box always has new products I have yet to discover! What did you think of the July Seasons Box? What was your favorite item this month?

I ordered a season’s box back in May and never received it. I contacted the company and they said they were looking into it. It has been over 2 months and they have stopped replying to my emails and of course there is no customer service number to call. I would not recommend buying any products from this unreliable company.

That company is the worst! I ordered from the site which took forever. When I did received my order they sent me the wrong stuff things that I didn’t order. When I did get in touch with them I did receive my missing items I asked for a refund didn’t receive it.
