Knoshbox Review - Food Subscription Box - August 2013

Knoshbox is a monthly gourmet food subscription box - every month they send you high-quality goodies sourced from all over the country. They also have a new theme each month - for the August Box the theme is Country Fair! Knoshbox kindly sent me this box to review.

All Natural Cotton Candy by Spun City - Value $3

Bureau's Sugarhouse Maple Kettle Korn - Value $5

I cannot tell you how excited I was to see this cotton candy in the August Knoshbox! I'm allergic to FD&C Red 40 - which is an artificial dye that is pretty much in everything, so I haven't had cotton candy in what seemed like forever. This cotton candy is made with natural colors and ingredients, so of course I ate all of it in under 5 minutes. Thank you Knoshbox for the sugar high!

(This maple kettle corn was equally delicious and disappeared in the same amount of time).

All Good Provisions Organic Sundried Cherries - Value $3

Full Bloom Apiaries Honey - Value $9

This honey comes with a chunk of fresh comb cut out of the frame - and Knoshbox let us know it was harvested just last week!

The Salty Road Taffy in Bergamot - Value $6.50

Unfortunately for me (or maybe it's a good thing I couldn't eat all the sweets in this box), this taffy has dairy in it, so I didn't get to try it. It got excellent reviews from my taste tester volunteers thouugh!

Verdict: The August Knoshbox was such a fun sweet-treat. I love that I got to sample all the delicious treats from a local fair, and they all were made with natural ingredients! (I know they are still sweets, but if they're natural versus artifical, that's still slightly healthier, right?) What did you think of the August Knoshbox?
