Gift Ideas for the Makeup Lover

This is a list of my top picks for makeup gifts of Holiday 2013! (I'll be gifting some of the makeup items, and wishing for a few as well!)

Gift Ideas for the Makeup LoverGlossyBox Gift Subscription - 3 months for $60 or 6 months for $115

GlossyBox is a high-end beauty subscription. Each box typically includes deluxe-sample and full-size beauty and makeup. Plus the packaging is incredible - it's like opening a gift each month. Check out my reviews of GlossyBox to see examples of what your recipient will receive!

Benefit Upgrade to Gorgeous Kit - $34

Benefit is such a high-rated makeup brand, and this set includes 4 of their most loved products. This set is also a great value - it includes two full sized products worth $54 alone! It's perfect someone just building their makeup collection, or even great travel-sized items for a Benefit makeup enthusiast.

Gift Ideas for Makeup Lovers

Birchbox Subscription - $30 for 3 months, $60 for 6 months, or $110 for a year subscription

One of my go-to gifts for any woman, Birchboxes typically include a mix of beauty and makeup items. It's a great way to sample and discover new emerging makeup brands! Check out my Birchbox reviews to see what a typical box includes.

Gift Ideas for the Makeup LoverCiate Mini Mani Month - $58 (Value $180)

If you're planning on gifting early, this Advent Calendar from Ciate has 24 mini bottles of nail polish and nail art decorations - so much better than a candy Advent calendar!

Gift Ideas for Makeup LoversTARTE The Tarte of Giving Collector's Set and Travel Bag - $59 ($490 Value)

I am a big fan of the Tarte cosmetic brand - they make all their products with natural ingredients, and the formulas work great too! This set has an incredible value and lets you or your recipient try out so many classic Tarte products.

Gift Ideas for Makeup Lovers

Beauty Box 5 Subscription ($30 for 3 months, $60 for 6 months, or $99 for 12 months)

Beauty Box 5 is another beauty and makeup subscription that has plenty of gift options. Check out my Beauty Box 5 reviews to see what you can expect in every box.

Gift Ideas for the Makeup Lover Ultimate Beauty Vanity - $129

Gorgeous beauty samples and makeup products deserve the proper storage - this PB Teen makeup storage vanity is on my wishlist this year!

Gift Ideas for the Makeup LoverSephora Favorites SuperStars Beauty Must Haves - $75 ($280 Value)

Stocking Stuffer Ideas:

Gift Ideas for the Makeup Lover

Jouer Puttin' on the Glitz Set - $25

I’m planning to gift a 3 month subscription to a friend that recently got into makeup. I don’t subscribe to any boxes myself, so I am having some trouble picking the best box! Which of the suggested boxes would you recommend the most?

Love that Birchbox Benefit upgrade. Sometimes it gets very disappointing that some companies won’t ship to Canada!

Any idea if Allure is doing a Holiday Beauty box again? I think last year they had one go on sale on Black Friday?

That Tarte gift set is from Sephora. There is another one from Ulta for $48 that is even better in my opinion! 🙂

Liz I love your ideas! I already have bought 2 of the Tarte kits. They are downright awesome! I buy them 2 every year, one for home and one to travel. I keep, sample sizes in the travel ones and regular sizes of skin care on my counter for home. Liz, you have such great ideas and I love reading your reviews each and everyday. Thank you so much for taking the time to read, examine, try, compare, write and review all of these subscription boxes as well as the extras such as this list that you put out! I also love that cupboard made by PB Teen. Thank you again for sharing!!!!

I also choose the Sephora Favorites Superstars in the beauty gift guide I put together. I like the little deborah lippmann minis that you picked…but I am having such a hard time getting glitter nail polish off my nails (even with acetone).
