Mama's Got Mail Subscription Box Review - November 2013

Mama’s Got Mail is a unique subscription box for moms that reminds you to take some time for yourself each month. In addition to the items included in the box, each mailing also includes a monthly Personal Self Check In sheet to use to do some reflecting!

Mama’s Got Mail kindly sent me this box to review.

Rostov's Breakfast Blend Coffee

Big Cup & Saucer

This box also came with the I Like Big Cups and I Cannot Lie print shown in the previous picture! Also, this coffee smells amazing - I love it when I can tell a box will be amazing by scent even before I open it!

This month's box is about the joy of a great cup of coffee, and thinking about your morning routine.

This self check in sheet encourages you to list out your morning routines so that you can map out your morning and start your day off right. I am not an early bird, so I will be trying out this sheet next week!

Verdict: This box is always hard for me to determine value, since part of the box is the self checkin. Some boxes have definitely had higher value of retail prices (The October and September box were two of my favorites), so I think it's fair to say the retail value will vary month-to-month.

What do you think of the November Mama's Got Mail box?

I had to keep reading this to make sure I didn’t miss anything. $40 for that is complete robbery!! You can go to any number of websites that help you do little check-ins for yourself for free. You are very tactful, I would have been much less generous with my summation, and frankly furious! I had this on my lists of subs to try but it’s off the list now.

I literally cannot believe this box was $49.

I don’t know what’s more insulting, the fact that this is just a rip-off OR that mothers need an instruction sheet that reminds us to eat, shower and get dressed in the morning.

UHM are you kidding me!?

I would have been disappointed to spend $49 and only get a big cup and a lb. of coffee. Coffee gets cold too fast in those big cups. If you really want a mom friendly cup this should have included a nice to go steel insulated travel mug -that’s what moms use while shuttling kids to school etc.
Scratching this box off my list.
