POPSUGAR Neiman Marcus Must Have Box Review

I love most of this box! The throw looks so cozy and the plates are awesome. I love eating healthy so they would be perfect for me. I was disappointed w/the beauty item and I’m always into beauty products, but pink eye shadow is just not practical. you really have to have the right skin tone to pull that off. I would rather they include a luxurious skincare item. They have access to the best brands and why not indulge for the box?!? I would love to buy this years, but we will see if I can afford it. I hope I can! It would be a real treat. 🙂

Those chocolate corn snacks are super good! Who knew you could cover a Bugle in white chocolate!?! I might have to try to make some myself after my NM snacks are gone.

Also, did anyone have any trouble with the plates? I got the red set. Three of four of my plates had this weird bubbling all over the surface in the glaze. One of them had the bubbling and a raised piece of black gunk (that’s under the glaze, so you can’t get it off) – stands out like a sore thumb. So, three of four plates look really bad. I feel that over time, that bubbling will start to peel/scrape and my plates will be trash.

I emailed Popsugar about this and here’s their response: “Thanks for reaching out and we apologize that you received a damaged set of Slim & Sage plates! We’re currently looking into a resolution for this issue and will let you know as soon as one is reached. We hope you’re you’re enjoying the rest of your Neiman Marcus box!”

Makes me wonder if this is a widespread problem with the plates? Anyone else have this issue?

I got mine today as well; Friday November 15th! 🙂 I love how you got navy in the throw, plates and candy dish! I got permisson in the throw; love it! I thought everyone’s plates were red but evidently they are not and I just decided to buy some white bowls and small plates a little while back to go with our red dishes and I am thrilled I got 4 gorgeous dinner plates by Slim and Sage! I got a pretty baby blue in the candy dish; thanks for the great idea to use it as a lib balms/elastics dish on my night table! LOVE my box! Glad I ordered it! 🙂

I bought this box with plans on giving friends and family some really nice gifts for a great value, but I think I’ll be keeping most of it! (As I write, I am wearing the necklace and munching on decadent bugles…)

The only thing I am disappointed about receiving is the navy throw (I was hoping for any color but navy). It’s a bit preppy for me. But, since I just bought a house and have an un-decorated guest room–I guess I have my theme, navy and chevron!

Funny, but I just got the email that the box was on it’s way and to my surprise, they delivered it today!

I received the same color, navy, for the throw, plates and zebra dish. The plates are beautiful and very heavy. All the items are really nice. Truthfully, would I buy these items myself, no, but it’s a really nice splurge for me.

Confession: I’m a college student who spends a lot on subscription boxes; some students will spend as much as I do on purses, but I prefer to be surprised. That being said, I bought this box. Haven’t received it yet, but I’m kind of disappointed. :/ The box is centered towards women ages 18-40 and the only thing I can see that would appeal to the younger demographic (I’m 20) is the makeup and the food (what student doesn’t want tasty food?! 🙂 ) and Nov’s box included a wine tote. O.o

I wish the NM box would’ve included more things younger women would like (maybe I’m in the minority though since most college students haven’t discovered subscription boxes yet). :/ Plus, we can’t have candles in our dorms, so some scent alternative like a diffuser would have been amazeballs. 🙂

I love the box. Love it. I was expecting more for $250 but I am satisfied that it was just higher value but same amount. I quite like everything. I got all the same colors except my zebra tray is in mustard. I would have preferred navy by far but it’s still a cute dish. The necklace is darling but extremely short – it looks more like a choker when worn. That is kind of annoying. I wish one of these sub boxes would ever include a longer dainty necklace. (Not bellybutton length – just cleavage or above length.) That said the plates are awesome – I’d actually thought about them months ago when I’d seen them online or in a magazine but the price was really offputting. So glad to get this box for my birthday!

I got my box yesterday and also never received a confirmation email, so it was a very pleasant early holiday surprise! Buying such a high price box was a gamble for me, but I love almost everything! The one item I’m bummed about is the necklace- I don’t like dainty necklaces so I’m not sure if I will wear this one. But the throw is amazing, the candle smells divine and the chocolate drizzled corn chips are delicious! Even without the necklace, I am so glad I bought this box!

I tried SO HARD to get this box. When I went on Popsugar’s site the night it went on sale, I didn’t realize I wasn’t signed into my account so I had to reenter all of my info and by time I got through all of it and hit Order Now it took me back to the homepage where it said the NM box was SOLD OUT. I was so crushed I even emailed them to see if there were any extras, but no. So I bought their Holiday Box and Nina Garcia’s box to feel better, hahaa!

I can’t wait to see what colors I get. I already have the November Must Have box (awesome) but now I want this box ASAP!

I can’t wait to get mine now that you have yours. It says it hasn’t mailed, but checked the reference # with Fed Ex and it sitting in Utah since Sunday! Wish it would get a move on!!! LOL until then I will enjoy your pics!!!! : ). Thanks, Liz

Great looking items but the box was just too expensive for me to buy.

Love it all! I’m ok that I passed on the box (just seemed too expensive for a bunch of unknowns!) but I will live vicariously through you + everyone else who posts reviews 😉

I am ridiculously envious but I just couldn’t afford it. I actually like the color-coordinating (in my case, the multitude of navy would have been perfect!). Maybe next time…

I got my box today and I love it. Your right that candle smells amazing. I got the nay throw as well. My zebra dish came in green and my dishes came in red. I was wondering does the necklace fit you. Mine is like a choker and doesn’t even lay right on my neck. Is anyone else having this problem? I did email PopSugar about this and about maybe them sending an extender or something. Still waiting to hear back.

I got the exact same colored items. I was a little frustated that the plates, dish and throw were all navy. I emailed Popsugar to see if there was any chance I could exchange for different colors and they pretty much said “nope”. Oh well…it was worth a try!
