JewelMint Mystery Box Review - Jan 2014 Box

Every month or so JewelMint does a new mystery box. In the past these boxes have been hit or miss for me, but I decided to buy their latest BRILLIANT #JMMYSTERYBOX since it was only $29.99 and they guaranteed at least 4 pieces.

JewelMint Mystery Box Review - Jan 2014 Mixed Media Necklace

Rose Drip Necklace - Value $29.99

I was happy to see that this necklace wasn't old stock - it's currently available at JewelMint. It's a pretty bold necklace for me, but I like it.

JewelMint Mystery Box Review - Jan 2014 Silver Necklace

Silver Chain Metal Necklace - Value $29.99

I couldn't find this on JewelMint's site, but it is a really nice piece. I don't usually wear silver jewelry though, so I'll likely end up gifting or swapping this.

JewelMint Mystery Box Review - Jan 2014 Items

This is what I found when I opened the box.

JewelMint Mystery Box Review - Jan 2014 Bracelet

Leather Wrap Bracelet - Value $29.99

I think this might be my favorite item in the box. Maybe because the colors remind me of spring and it is SO cold right now!

JewelMint Mystery Box Review - Jan 2014 earrings

Earrings - Value $29.99

JewelMint Mystery Box Review - Jan 2014 Gold Earrings

Earrings - Value $29.99

Verdict: I paid $29.99 for this box and I received $150 worth of JewelMint jewelry. Of course, some of these items are from past seasons and no longer available for sale, so while each item may not still be worth $29.99 retail, I definitely feel like I got my money's worth. Plus every piece is good quality for the price-point in my opinion.

Did you grab a JewelMint BRILLIANT #JMMYSTERYBOX? What did you get?

I to used the BOGO code and hoped that I would end up with lots of gifts for others. Turns out I loved everything so much, it was pretty hard to part with any of the pieces! I ended up with 3 necklaces, one pair of earrings and 6 bracelets! Out of the whole lot, there was only one dud!

I used the B1G1 code to get two of the Brilliant mystery boxes, and I LOVE the boxes I received! No duplicate pieces, and honestly no ugly pieces!

You received some amazing pieces! My favorite has to be that silver chain metal necklace – it looks so on point. 😀

I have a love/hate relationship with JewelMint. I like their collective pieces, but they’re the ones that aren’t on sale. I have gotten the collective mystery and I think I usually find I can wear most of that jewelry.

I was going to order this with the BOGO, but it’s only for new members, so decided to skip it. I already have lots of JewelMint pieces that I probably won’t wear.

They are sold out of that box, but I ordered two of the Brilliant #JMMysteryBox boxes and used the buy-one-get-one free promotional code they are running now. Even if they send me two of all the same stuff, I can always gift the extras. An amazing deal $30 for at least 8 pieces!

Got my boxes and got 10 pieces! (3 necklaces, 6 bracelets, 1 pair earrings, no duplicates). Stuff I wouldn’t normally buy, which is good because I need to be more daring with my jewelry choices!

I ordered two boxes too with the b1g1 code and received about 14 pieces!! There were only one duplicate bracelet, but it was different colors though so that was ok.

Wow! So glad I made that purchase then! Thanks for confirming that the boxes don’t necessarily have the exact same items in them. 🙂 I’m extra excited now!

That’s an awesome deal! 🙂

Oooh, I LOVE that chain mail necklace. Wish it was in stock on their website because I would totally buy it. Nice box and a great price for everything you got. Might try the next one.

Ended up buying two boxes using the bogo coupon! Will probably cancel the sub afterwards, but they have so many interesting pieces!

I like the earrings but, sadly, I can’t wear any earring metals except for titanium and platinum (maybe also niobium). And those metals tend to increase the price of earrings to the point where I wouldn’t want to pay for them. =( That’s really what’s keeping me from subscribing to any jewelry boxes. You can replace the hooks and posts on some earrings, but not on all of them.

JewelMint is advertising on TV now. Maybe they had been all along and I just hadn’t noticed because previously, I wasn’t clued in to subscription boxes.
