BarkBox Review & Coupon Code - February 2014 Review

BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs. It's one of our favorite subscription boxes, and the reason our dog now has to sniff every box that we get in the mail.

BarkBox customizes your box to your dog’s size. For reference, this review is for the small size (our dog weighs 14 pounds)

BarkBox frequently sends out Barkworthies chews, and our dog absolutely loves them, so it works out great!

BarkBox Review & Coupon Code - February 2014 Toy

Cheese Please Treats - Value $2

Petsafe Classic Sheepskin Toy - Value $6

Hm these Cheese Please treats are made with only cheese, and are a human and dog safe treat. We haven't tried them yet - let me know if you recommend them for humans, dogs or both!

BarkBox Review & Coupon Code - February 2014 Treats

Superior Farms Pet Provisions Dog Treat Biscuits - Value $10

Made in the USA and Grain-Free are the two main things I look for in dog treats, and these fit the bill! (Plus our dog actually likes them, of course he still prefers treats that are 100% meat!)

Verdict: We paid $17 for this box (6 month subscription) and received about $28 worth of items. (I definitely recommend signing up for a 6-month subscription if you can – it makes the box a much better value).

So far everything our dog has sampled has been a hit - so we're very pleased with the curation of the February box. What did your pup get this month from BarkBox?

My husband tried the Cheese Please treats and once I read that cheese was the only ingredient, I tried them too! They [kind of] taste like fried cheese treats we have bought from Whole Foods. I had to buy whole boxes online for my pooches because one of my English Bulldogs is on a VERY strict diet due to bladder stones. All my fur-babies love their Bark Box subscription. Okay, mom likes it too. 🙂

My dogs share a box and got the same one – they LOVE the cigar toy. I’m debating buying backup(s). It is their current favorite toy. I think it’s the only toy my pug has touched in 3 days!

I’ve been incredibly happy with Barkbox. I think it is our 3rd or 4th box. They always send us “tuff” toys because my pups will shred a stuffed animal in seconds (you can specify that option with Barkbox). Every toy has been high quality and the treats are awesome! I would spend so much more on treats if I bought them at the pet store. My 3 dogs “share” a box and its always been great fun to open it with them.

I love cheese so ultimately could not resist tasting the human-safe treats.

I do not recommend. It tastes like cheese but has an icky, chalky texture.
