Doteable College Subscription Box Review - March 2014 Box

Doteable is a monthly college care package subscription box. They offer packages for both guys and girls, and they have a regular subscription ($45 or a month) or a mini subscription ($15 a month). This review is of the mini subscription plan. (Doteable kindly sent me this box to review).

Each box comes with a card that has a theme and a brief description on what’s included in the box.

Doteable College Subscription Box Review - March 2014 Tips

On the flip side of the card are tips based on where you are in the semester. This month is about tackling technical courses.

Doteable College Subscription Box Review - March 2014 Trident

Kleenex Pack - Value $1

Trident White Gum - Value $1

The basics included this month are pretty basic - but at least you know they will definitely get used!

Doteable College Subscription Box Review - March 2014 Tee

Bella Deep V-Neck Tee - Value $18

This tee is made with 100% cotton, and I can always use new white tops, so I'm happy with this basic!

Verdict: This was a very straight forward Doteable Mini box this month, but I think it's a good little mix of essentials for $15 shipped. What do you think of the March Doteable Mini Box?

Their customer service is nonexistant. I have tried on six separate occasions to verify the clothing size for the box I ordered as a 6 month gift and I have received no response. Nothing has been shipped to date (that I know of), but the website was more than happy to take my money. I am currently trying to claim fraud with my credit card due to unresponsiveness and no guarantee that the product will show up as promised. If I receive any communication or the recipient actually gets the correct item, I will update.

They also do not send tracking unless you harrass them for it.

Lia I just went through the same thing, they pnly responded when I threatened. I did receive all the packages but the customer service was so bad that even though the totes were cute i would never subscribe again or recommend them to anyone.

Boring. I could do a better one myself for less money.

I don’t see the second “essential” item. On their website too, it says you will receive “two essentials and a surprise goodie” with the mini subscription. Unless they mean the gum and tissues are the “essentials” and the t-shirt is the surprise. That doesn’t seem too interesting :/

Yes, I think the Kleenex and the gum are the essentials. Seems like an OK value for $15, but not very exciting. I wouldn’t have been that excited to get this in college. My mom was much better at putting together care packages than Doteable is 🙂
