Mama’s Got Mail Subscription Box Review – March 2014 Box

Mama’s Got Mail is a unique subscription box for moms that reminds you to take some time for yourself each month. In addition to the items included in the box, each mailing also includes a monthly Personal Self Check In sheet to use to do some reflecting!

Mama’s Got Mail kindly sent me this box to review.

Mama’s Got Mail Subscription Box Review – March 2014 Letter

Each box comes with a letter from Shannon explaining the items and the theme for the month. February’s theme is about identifying your strengths.

Mama’s Got Mail Subscription Box Review – March 2014 Check In

There’s also a self check-in quiz with every box.

Mama’s Got Mail Subscription Box Review – March 2014 Kind

Zella Double the Fun Headband - Value $10

Kind Bar in Dark Chocolate Cherry Cashew - Value $1.50

I've been in need of a workout headband that doesn't budge, and this one fits the bill! It has slip-proof dots throughout, and I love the look of the double band too!

Mama’s Got Mail Subscription Box Review – March 2014 Gaiam

Gaiam Restore Strong Core & Back Kit - Value $15

I love that this little workout ball comes with a DVD! This kit gets great reviews too, so I'll need to add it to my workout routine soon!

Verdict: The retail values of Mama's Got Mail boxes tend to vary from above or below the cost of the box, but this is on the lower end (about $27). This box also includes the self-check in test, and that part is hard for me to put a value on. As far as curation goes, I think this is a great selection of items, and I know I'll use everything.

I recommend Mama's Got Mail if you're looking for a monthly reminder to reflect and take some "me" time. It's probably best to sign up for the annual subscription if you can since the savings are so substantial.

What do you think of the March Mama's Got Mail box?

My first thought was that this would be a perfect mothers day gift… Until I saw the price vs the value. I think a reminder like this would be great for my hardworking mom, and i would have no no problem spending $50 on her…but not for $25 worth of products. Much more worth it if it was a $20-30 subscription with these kinds of items.

I can’t believe this box is more expensive than PopSugar!! How they stay in business is beyond me, there are far better boxes for $49.

I would be happy if I got that box if I paid about $25.

This was a good box and it is the way I shop. Add something fun; sunny yellow headband, to a workout routine.

As a new mom, I really love the idea of this box and would love to sub to it. But the price seems just too high for what you get. :/
