JewelMint Mother's Day MintKit Mystery Box

A few weeks ago JewelMint launched their Mother's Day Mystery Box featuring the designer K Amato, so I decided to buy one for possible Mother's Day gifts / possible jewelry for myself! (FYI - this mystery box is currently sold out but in waitlist mode).

JewelMint Mother's Day MintKit Mystery Box Review Items

The Box: JewelMint Mother’s Day MintKit

The Cost: $29.99

The Products: 3 pieces featuring designs by K. Amato

Check out all of my JewelMint reviews!

JewelMint Mother's Day MintKit Mystery Box Review Earrings

Linear Paddle Earrings - Value $36

Blackhawk Filigree Earrings - Value $30

These pieces are both pretty classic, so I think they will make great gifts.

JewelMint Mother's Day MintKit Mystery Box Review Necklace

Hammered Circle Silver Necklace - Value $40

I would have totally kept this for myself if it was in gold, but my mom prefers silver jewelry, so hopefully she likes it!

Verdict: I paid $30 for this box and received a little over $100 worth of jewelry. From what I can tell on JewelMint's site, all K. Amato pieces are gold or silver plated, so I'm happy with the quality of the pieces!

Did you get a a Mother's Day Mystery MintKit box? What was your favorite piece?

I love the earrings!

I just signed up for Cate & Chloe because they told me they’d leave earrings out of my box (I can only wear titanium due to a nickel allergy). Probably best I don’t get another jewelry subscription, anyway. The pocketbook can only handle so much and I’ve been VERY bad lately.

Thanks much for this Cate & Chloe tip – I believe I have a nickel allergy, too, and the only earrings and rings that I have found I can tolerate are platinum (I will test out titanium now, too, based on your experience!). No matter how much I like them, I always have to gift/swap earrings and rings. I love C&C and JM bracelets and necklaces, though.

If you sign up, e-mail them with your request and order # immediately afterwards. It took them a couple of days to get back to me but they mentioned they’d read my message before sending out my first package. Also, there was a coupon code on this site for $8 off the first box that was a little bit old but still worked for me last week. Maybe with the March review?

Ugh I’m SOOO happy I didn’t buy this one. Those pieces are so unattractive and they don’t even go together at all.
