Citrus Lane Mom Mystery Box

In addition to the regular Citrus Lane subscription, every once in a while Citrus Lane offers mystery boxes. This time they were offering a Just for Mom box which I decided meant "Just for Moms and/or Liz!"

Citrus Lane Mom Mystery Box Review Box Items

The Box: Citrus Lane Just For Mom Mystery Box

The Cost: $29

The Products: Non-baby products and a Stella & Dot item

FYI - this box is no longer available for purchase, but you can try out a month of Citrus Lane for only $9 with coupon code TAKE20OFF.

Citrus Lane Mom Mystery Box Review Julep

Julep Nail Color in Gabrielle - Value $14

Deep Steep Moisture Stick in Lavender Chamomile - Value $6

Juice Beauty Green Apple Age Defy Hand Cream - Value $12

I've received all these items over the past few months from Citrus Lane boxes, but I can always use more hand cream and moisturizer stick. (I love the scent of both of these products). The nail polish is a duplicate though, and it is going in the gift pile.

Citrus Lane Mom Mystery Box Review Baggu

Baggu Foxy Bag - Value $9

I love baggu bags and seem to have a never-ending use for them, so I'm always happy to find a new one in a subscription box - especially when the print is this cute!

Citrus Lane Mom Mystery Box Review Stella Dot

Now on to the Stella & Dot teaser item!

Citrus Lane Mom Mystery Box Review Bracelet

Stella & Dot Bracelet - Value $29?

I couldn't find the exact bracelet on their site, but I'm basing the value off of this bracelet that I think looks similar.

Verdict: This mystery box has a value of about $70 - I paid $29 so I'm very pleased. It looks like for the most part Citrus Lane uses items from past boxes for mystery boxes (which is fine by me - I think everything they included is a high quality item). And I like that they added a Stella & Dot bracelet to mix things up!

Have you tried any Citrus Lane mystery boxes? What do you think of the value?

Mental note: do not buy any mystery boxes for mom from Citrus Lane! I’m sorry but I’d be disappointed if I bought this for $10, let alone $29!

I hesitated too long before getting the mystery box with the toy car (offered at the same time as this one), and missed out. I briefly considered this one but didn’t love the bracelet. I also never use regular polish (only gel) so not too disappointed. Overall I feel like Citrus Lane does a great job with their mystery boxes so I’m going to stay on the lookout for more.

I really wanted to get this box when I got the email, but didn’t pony up for it. Now I’m kinda happy I didn’t! I don’t care for the Julep color and I have soooo many shopper bags that I just don’t need another. The bracelet and other items are nice though. 🙂
