I grew up with the movie Clueless, so I'm in love with these hot pink pencils. I don't even use pencils that often, but these will make a perfect desk accessory!

Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Review - July 2014 Card

You Make Everything Beautiful Card - Value $5

Push Pins - Value $9

I love all things Rifle Paper Co., so I'm saving this card for someone special! These push pins will get swapped though - I don't have a use for them.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box Review - July 2014 Earrings

Georgia Varidakis Jewelry Studs - Value $30

These tiny sterling silver earrings are so cute. Normally I prefer gold jewelry over silver, but I love these.

Verdict: This month's Jennifer Love Hewitt box has a retail value of about $78. While not every item in this box was for me, I love a few items, and plan on gifting/swapping the rest. What do you think of the latest Jennifer Love Hewitt box?

I don’t find this box “trashy” or “unclassy” at all. I think its just geared towards specific people who probably wouldn’t subscribe to a JLH box, and that’s where the box went wrong.
This looks like a box that Urban Outfitters or Spencer’s would curate. Both of those stores are super popular right now. And the people who like those stores are not “trashy”, they just have a different personality than you do.
You have a right to hate the box, just don’t be so judgmental people.

Wow..just when I thought fancy box couldn’t get any worse. Every month I look at these fancy boxes and think “who would PAY for these??!” They are beyond awful. This looks like she closed her eyes and went into an adult dollar store and just grabbed random items.

Are people actually satisfied with this box?!?

I would pay for these, though I have a fondness for tattoos and humor; as well as art and design. While I would hide the page markers from my kids I still find them amusing.

Wow. Incredibly tacky. I always thought JLH had more class than that… Especially the stickers. What? On? Earth?
The coloring book looks fun, and the pencils are… ok. But those stickers just rub me the wrong way.
Unfortunely this squashed any hopes I had of eventually trying this box.

Oh I forget, pink pencils

I received my August JLH Fancy Box and I was greatly disappointed. I received a strange sketch book, an ugly card, crayons for your body and blank business cards in a gold metal holder. I think her boxes have been getting worse every month. I cancelled.

I can’t help but notice that unlike most Fancy boxes there is no paper describing why the curator picked the pieces of the box. Perhaps JLH took break and let some one else do it this time, because most of this seems so not her style except for perhaps the earrings and the greeting card.

Love this box but i dont believe JLove picked it out, looks more like stuff that came in Pink’s box.

Agreed! I could see Pink fans loving this, including myself.

What is this? An x-rated office supply box? A coloring book? I don’t get this box at all. What were they thinking? Pencils and pushpins?

I’m going to keep my comments to myself on this one… just wow.

I just switched from the coco rocha fancy box to the jlh fancy box. Unfortunately I switched too late because I would’ve loved to have all this!! But hopefully next month will be just as great!

If I received those stickers in any box, phone calls would be made and refunds would be given! I’m a bit old fashion, I thought JLH was a bit more classy then that.

chris

I agree.

Also, isn’t the arrow on the wrong side of how these usually would be?

jo

agreed..this looks like really trashy stuff and nothing that I would want even seen in my house…let alone gift to anyone. We don’t use the language around here and I would be offended and absolutely mortified to open this box

Ashley Wasnick

Same here… very tacky.
