Rockettes Fancy Box Review – October 2014 Box

The Rockettes Fancy Box is a brand new subscription box from Fancy. It's geared toward dancers, but some of the items could work for non-dancers like me!

Fancy sent us this box for review purposes. (Check out the review process postto learn more about how we review boxes).

Rockettes Fancy Box Review – October 2014 Hat

Echo Design Cap and Fingerless Gloves Set - Value $45?

I'm not sure about value of this set. I can't find it for sale online (I'm guessing it is from last season?), but their hats and gloves each start at around $32 so I think the $45 set price is fair assuming this is a season old.

I'm not sure I can pull off the sparkle hat/fingerless glove look (plus I like my gloves to have fingers since I'm always cold), so this set will be gifted/swapped!

Rockettes Fancy Box Review – October 2014 Bun Pins

DCER Temporary Tattoos - $5?

KITSCH Bun Pins -  Value $24

I had no idea Bun Pins existed! This is definitely a dancer-themed box (which is good), but definitely not a good fit for me. (And I'll be swapping/gifting these metallic temporary tattoos too).

Rockettes Fancy Box Review – October 2014 Bracelet

Lyndy Lou Designs Bracelet - Value $24

I normally don't wear bracelets that go around your finger, but this one is delicate enough that I might give it a try.

Verdict: This box definitely wasn't for me - but I'm guessing it would work for the demographic they are targeting with this box? The value is pretty good too - almost $100. (That's if my echo design hat and glove set estimate it correct).

What do you think of the latest Rockettes Fancy box?

I received the November box for this subscription. Shared pictures, etc. of it on my site. I think they had some really great items this time around, including a few with the Rockettes’ brand which I had been expecting in previous boxes. Looking forward to seeing what comes in the December box!

I read your review. I read your blog before when you mention it in a post. November seems to be a great box and much better than the Nicky Hilton box. You lucked out on the Chanel dish. Another blogger received one with Chanel misspelled as Channel. I hope the Rockettes keep up with producing wonderful boxes.

Oh no! Did she write them to see if she could get a replacement? Yeah, I liked the November box a lot! December’s box actually had the branded items I noted above. I had mixed feelings about it thought. It had a few items I really liked such as some cute earrings and a NYC guidebook and then the two branded items which were nice, but which I put up for swap since I knew I wouldn’t use them. I’m debating whether to keep up the subscription through January though…

I think this is a great box. I like everything they put in it. Better than some of the other fancy boxes I have seen

I’m pretty impressed with the Rockettes box staying on theme. I agree that it wouldn’t be an ideal box for me though!

Sneaky Burrito

It does seem to be doing a better job of that than some other Fancy boxes. (It’s not a box for me, either. I was always the kid in dance class turning the wrong way and half a step behind everyone else. So I quit as soon as my mom let me.)

I like the bun pin and the rest of the box! They actually sell that brand of bun pins on Birchbox so I have been saving points to see if I want to splurge on one. So cute!

I will buy that entire box from someone! I’m a dancer so the bun pin would be super cute in a ballet class. I also found the hat and fingerless gloves surprisingly cute even though they’re not my normal style.

Daisy, let me know if you would like to purchase the box from me. I received it and unfortunately will not be using any of the items.

Wow, the jewelry you received was so much nicer than what I got in my box! (You can see it in my review on my site). I was going to wait for a third box before deciding whether to keep this but now I’m feeling a bit cheated so I may not. :/
