I have the magnet set you posted. They are really nice! Here is another idea for a pillow, a lot more expensive but really great quality.

Well since people are having you making a list for what they want I guess I will add to the mix LOL, how about one for the Grandmother who has everything, and one of my best friend is from Sudan so how about a gift for Africa items. <3

Can you do an Italy theme one, I want to buy some Italy themed Christmas gifts.

Stacey

I second this! My boyfriend’s family is from Rome and I need some ideas!!!!

These are fantastic, Liz! I’m a hopeless Anglophile (and monarchist :)), and I’ve never seen most of these products before. And, of course, I want everything on the list!

Second: Ireland, Scotland, cats, and what to get Dad!

Curious …. Does any one know of a great sub box that has a bag every month? Could be a a tote bag, a purse, etc. – I tried social bliss for month – I did not like the box enough to resub for another month.

Liz: Idea 🙂 How about gifts cat people? =v=. There are so many cute items, cat sunglasses, hello kitty items, cat toys, I could look at cat items all day.

I love this! I’d like to see a gift guide for Subscription Box Addicts, something that includes storage solutions for all the samples that we receive. They would be hard to shop for since they literally receive a little bit of everything each month.

I would also love an Irish gift guide. There is a site I’ve bought from before called Food Ireland that offers lots of great edibles. If you are so inclined, they will even ship you a Full Irish breakfast, or at least they used to offer that. Being a vegetarian, I haven’t looked for that item lately. The url is: http://www.foodireland.com/

I would also like a geek themed guide. Beyond ThinkGeekk, I can offer a couple of good sites for gifts. First BadaliJewelry.com offers all kinds of jewelry most geeks would go crazy for, items inspired by Game of Thrones, The Dresden Files, Patrick Rothfuss’ Kingkiller Chronicles, and a lot of others. Second is http://abbyshot.com/ AbbyShot Clothiers. They make costumes and clothing based on movies, games and other such sources. They are a bit pricey, but they make real, solid clothing, not cheap costume gear. I really want the Mad Max coat, the Kevin Smith approved Silent Bob coat and most of the trench coats. The nice thing about their items is that many of them will work just fine for everyday wear, not just as part of a costume for ComicCon.Finally, I haven’t bought anything from these folks, but they have a growing reputation thanks to their RPG candles. Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs sell some unique essential oils, candles and other such items. They fit into the geeky category because of their roleplaying game based scents. They offer alignment scents like lawful evil, chaotic good and so on. They also offer class based scents like Rogue, Ranger and Paladin. Definitely unique. http://blackphoenixalchemylab.com/ . I know there are many more out there, but these are the ones I happen to have links to. Of course, if you don’t think a full geek guide would be popular enough, it is fine, I just thought I would share some suggestions.

BPAL is my obsession! I have bought something from every line they’ve released since the shop opened – my collection is a bit overwhelming! They are wonderful people and the products are incredible!

Thanks for the links! I love BPAL too!

Just saw today on Escape Monthly that for a limited time the “regular”London boxes are on sale for half price…

Please keep these lists coming. I can totally foresee doing all of my Christmas shopping based on these lists as long as they are plentiful and diverse. I tend to love the female gifts and spend too much money buying for myself but the rest of my family is all male – dad, husband and brother. Would love some unique gifts for a newly retired dad, a techie husband and a movie obsessed brother.

Marisa

Liz, your ideas are awesome. Would you consider including some Jo Malone items in your next box?

Jessvii

Loved this post! Only because you said we could make suggestions, how about a Scottish box? My husband is only a quarter but he is super proud of it!

Reply ButtonReply

Katie

Liz, you seem to find the best gifts! If you have the time, could make a list for the “man who has everything” I’m having a hard time finding anything for my father & fiancé. They have EVERYTHING!

Reply ButtonReply

Jillian D

These are great! What about people obsessed with Ireland (like me)? Would that make me an Eirophile? Is there a term for that? I might be the only one, but I would be super thrilled (and so would my family when I gave the gifts) if you found some awesome Irish stuff. 🙂

These lists are great, thank you!
I second the requests for Ireland and for the guy who has everything. I would personally love an Italian-themed list as well. (Wish there was an Italian version of Frenchbox actually!)

Crystal

My husband is slightly more than 75% Irish (2nd generation immigrant) and is super proud of his heritage too. 🙂 He was excited about my Escape Box earlier this year that was Ireland themed.

Liz Cadman

I’ll get working on it! 🙂

Jillian D

YAY! I can’t wait to see what you find. I just went for the first time in August and I’m in complete withdrawal.

Caddie

I’d love to see a gift guide for globetrotters!

cheryl

Wow, you’re good…love it! I have a theme going now with the France and London one for gift giving. thanks!

What is an Anglophile? lol

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

To quote wikipedia: An Anglophile is a person who admires England, its people, and its culture

Hope that helps! 🙂
