Gift Ideas for Francophiles

If the person you are shopping for loves all things French, this list of gift ideas should have you covered! There is even now a subscription box dedicated to just discoveries from France!

Savon Soap

Savon de Marseille Hand Soap - $18

While hand soap typically isn't a luxe gift - this Savon De Marseille soap is truly special - and it comes in five different scents to choose from.

Paris Pastry Club

Paris Pastry Club - $22

Paris Ornament

Paris Orb Glass Ornament - $10.50

There are quite a few Eiffel Tower ornaments out there - but this sparkly one is the most unique one I've come across!

effiel-tower

Eiffel Tower Ring Holder - $19

Perfect for holding rings and other trinkets!

French Box

French Box Subscription - $66 for 3 months, $126 for 6 months

You can't go wrong with this gift - each month your recipient will receive a mix of beauty, food and lifestyle items straight from France! And the packaging will make it feel like opening a gift every month! (Check out my reviews of past French Boxes to see what you can expect with this subscription)

Macarons

Natasha's Mulberry & Mott Macarons - $40

A classic parisian treat - these macarons ship with dry ice to arrive fresh!

NUXE

NUXE Love From Paris Gift Set - $49

This natural skincare line from Franch includes deluxe samples of their day cream, eye cream and dry oil. (A $95 value)

Paris Mug

Paris Mug - $10

I love the illustration on this mug - plus it is microwave and dishwasher safe!

Coco Chanel

Coco Chanel: An Intimate Life - $13

Earrings

Parisian Memento Earrings - $13

Paris I Love You Candle

Paris I Love You Candle - $29.50

I love decorative candles like these because once you burn down the candle, it's a stoneware container to keep pens and pencils, makeup brushes, etc.

Paris Necklace

Paris 24K Gold Plated Necklace - $150

Williams Sonoma

Classic Plain Croissants, Set of 15 - $40

These ship frozen to stay fresh. I got them for my mom's birthday a few years ago and she loved them. Since they were already frozen, she kept them in the freezer and was able to enjoy them for a month!

The mug on Pottery barn is now marked down to $8 and if you sign up for email they give 10% off. I just ordered 3 one for me and 2 for gifts for $23 FREE shipping. Nice 🙂

My stepmother has the Savon De Marseille Hand Soap in Verbena, and is smells like the pump soap in public bathrooms. I hope the other fragrances smell nicer.

So, if any of the gourmet sub. services are checking in to the site, I wanted to voice my great desire for a macaron subscription box! I LOVE them, and can’t really afford to purchase them from internet sites, and my small town doesn’t have a bakery with that type of pastry available! I could however spring $20 to $25 a month to subscribe to a macaron subscription service! I see so many promos for food boxes that use pictures of macarons, but have never actually received one in a sub box. The Goodies sub box (from WalMart a few years back) got me to sign up because the pic used in their ad was of French macarons…..imagine my disappoint when I received a box of health food instead! I would love, love, love to also see a French pastry sub box. I think Orange Glad could pull this off awesomely if Novembers Sweet Box is any indication of what they are capable of!

Liz: great gift ideas! – more ideas: I’ve been seeing a lot of planners, calendars and simple note books with the eifel tower. L’occitaine has limited edition fragrances out now.

Jet Set Candy has super cute travel-themed jewelry, although the France-related pieces aren’t nearly as cute as, e.g., the UK ones.

Thanks for the list! Huge fan of the French Box! And the Nuxe dry oil is an everyday staple 🙂

If you click on the links, you’ll see that the Paris mug, for instance, is from Pottery Barn.
I believe that Liz kindly put this collection together just to help us with our Christmas shopping.
On that note, what about us English ex-pats, longing for a taste of home? Hint, hint.

I second that! I would love a list for Anglophiles!

These are just gift ideas. I don’t believe any of these items have been featured in the French box, not that I can remember anyway

I’m a bit confused are ALL these item in the French box or are they individual gift ideas?

Liz Cadman

They are all individual gift ideas, including the French Box subscription as a possible gift idea. Sorry for the confusion!
