How Moxie Box works:
"When you sign up for Moxie Box, every month you will receive different personalized gifts based off the questionnaire above you provided. Each box will be hand-selected and delivered to your door the beginning of each month. Some examples of things you will receive include: graphic tees, scarves, earrings and bracelets, necklaces, wallets, and more! You will never receive the same item twice and items will change and represent each season and the trends that are popular at the time."
Also good to know - I just bought this deal and I didn't have to enter credit card info on Moxie's site to redeem the voucher.

I got my first box today. I received a very soft and beautiful grayish scarf with blue elephants on it.! I received a small pumpkin scented candle which seems like a leftover from last month. I also received two pairs of the same earrings – one was red and one was blue. While I like them, I don’t ever like to receive two of the same thing – especially not in the same box! I’m on the fence about the subscription. I purchased three months with the additional 10% discount, so it only comes out to about $16 per month. If I had paid full price, I would definitely be disappointed. For $16, I’m content to wait and see what next month brings.

I got my box today. It was just ok in my opinion. Not sure that it is enough to make me want to go for a subscription.
I got a pink and animal print infinity scarf (sounds like one that others have received), two pairs of earrings – they are little button earrings – one is red which will be festive enough to wear during the Christmas season and one pair which is an odd shade of purple that I do not see me wearing ever. Also got a small candle in a tin in pumpkin spice – it smells really good.
I wonder what the posts on the earrings are made of. Also, the posts seem longer than the posts on any of my other earrings.
I think the quality on the scarf is decent – it is not the cheapest thing that you buy for $5 at the kiosks in the mall but it is definitely not in the class with the one that came with the December PopSugar Must Have box.

I got my first box today! It’s super light that I thought I might be disappointed before opening the box. But I got excited about it after opening! I got a sand color scarf with elephant print, perfect for fall. And two pairs of earrings, both are shining. (Although I don’t wear earrings, they are good to gift to friends). And a cute candle with the scent saying”red wine with raspberry, grapefruit and cherries”. Love it!

First, my order was “lost”; I had to contact them. On their survey I said I would not wear pink, and I get a pink cheap scarf. The purple earrings looked like something an 8 year old would wear. The skunk that lives in my yard smells better than the candle. Total rip off, not worth $25. I would never recommend. Stay away.

Agree. Dollar store candle and earrings, scarf maybe $2.00 (being generous here). Maybe this was meant for a 5 y/o. Maybe I misread the description.

Seconded. This box felt so cheap, I feel ripped off even at $16. The scarf would be cute if it weren’t the most threadbare scarf I’ve seen.

My first Moxie Box arrived today (12/17/14). I love it! I got a beautiful blue infinity scarf with an elephant print–very African looking; a small lemon verbena candle that smells amazing; and two pairs of earrings in the same stud-like design, one black and one a sort of cobalt blue. I’m thrilled with my box!

I just emailed to ask if the first Moxie Box would arrive by Christmas and I got a reply 5 minutes later saying yes, it shipped today! I can’t wait to see what’s in it!

Thanks!

Any word on when this box will ship? I haven’t seen any updates on their website or on Facebook. Looks like they are still accepting LS vouchers though.

did anyone receive an email conformation about this box? I entered my living social voucher on Nov 19th and haven’t heard a word from them… I am getting a little worried.

Just an FYI-Here is a response from Moxie on their Facebook page, someone asked how many items will be in the moxie box: “It depends on the month and the cost of what I am putting in the box. On average, you receive 3 items. For example, a scarf and 2 pair of earrings. Please let me know if you have any other questions!”
“Moxie Boutique specializes in trendy apparel, casual and cocktail dresses, and accessories.”

I ordered the 3 month subscription and used “extra10” which took $6 off. I found the company email address on their web site and received a response back in less than 15 minutes, I think that’s pretty good customer service so far! But I agree that they will need to work on an automatic email system. I filled out the personal profile survey that was on the left side of the page. I hope they send new amazing products : )

Hi Liz & Fellow MSA’ers!
I was wondering if any of you have happened to find any further information about this box… I’m curious about value and contents we could expect, because so far the only description I’ve found is in regards to “what could be in the box” or “what the box could look like,” but nothing really indicating an overall value or quantity/quality of items to be included. I’m debating whether to take the plunge, and like many, don’t want to risk it being a bust, especially this time of year when we have so many other goodies to budget in… Also noticed there were no returns info or really any kind of clarity as to how we could tell if this box would be suited to any specific taste or style (ie, their overall boutique seems to have that trendy/boho chic/seasonal pop-up affordable boutique feel)… Any thoughts?
TIA for any insight! 😉

Seems a little dicey…interested to see how things go for everyone.
Is the US only?

Wow….their site is a mess. I had the same experience as the commenters above. Bought the 3 month LivingSocial deal, entered my information repeatedly on their site and got no confirmation. I hope we haven’t all just lost $55.
Very worried about this one.

I contacted them on their FB page, and they stated that their website doesn’t automatically create confirmation emails. They seem to be in the beginning stages of the box business, so I’m willing to cut them some slack on not having an amazing website. If worst comes to worst, it was purchased through LivingSocial, and I can get my money back through them. With that insurance, I’m willing to take the risk.

I did not see any questionnaire to personalize the box. Since they have clothing, and I’m not a size 0, hope they email a link for that. I am having a queasy feeling about getting another bummer box from yet another company.

The questionnaire was on the page twice when I registered; once to the left of where you enter your address and again way down below. They asked clothing size, but the biggest option was a size 14. They also asked about colors in your wardrobe, colors you stay away from, color of jewelry you prefer (silver/gold) and favorite scents.

When you subscribed, did you get any sort of confirmation email from them? I got the 3-month Living Social deal over the weekend and have entered all the info on the Moxie site several times, but nothing seems to be happening. I emailed them a couple of days ago and haven’t heard back.

I get an error when trying to use “EXTRA10”. Says it has already reached the max number of uses. Bummer 🙁
