GoodeBox Cyber Monday Deal – 20% Off Single Holiday Box

I received my box last week and am super happy. I love natural products and don’t feel like my goal in getting subscription boxes is to have a super high dollar value but more so that I get to try new products and find new things to use. I got the LE Breast Cancer box and loved that one also! December’s box is good for me as I like more natural colors, not dark reds or other dark colors so the cream shadow and nail color were perfect. The scrub smells good and I liked the other items also. I have really enjoyed the Goodeboxes I have gotten and am really glad I have the long term sub. (I do get petit vour also and so I have a duplicate of the cream shadow but I will use it up eventually)

OK, I just received my holiday box today. I actually think it was a great box, and well worth the amount of money I paid for it (I bought it at full price.) I can tell that I’m going to really like all the products, although they haven’t gotten a full testing-out just yet. It made for a great holiday gift to *myself*, although I could see people might not want to give it as a gift to someone else. While the gold polish (and the color of eyeshadow I got, Palma) were both kind of festive, the package doesn’t really scream “holiday gift” unless you’re planning to give it to someone who loves natural products and understands what they’re getting. Otherwise, the samples, while totally usable, are on the small-ish side for giving the whole box as a gift. OTOH, the individual parts of the box would all make fantastic stocking stuffers. Maybe next year Goodebox might consider calling this a stocking stuffer box or something like that, to differentiate it a little more from the much bigger LE box. Incidentally, while I’m rambling, I would have loved to have seen a few more festive/fun cosmetics in that box, so it would have felt a little more on-theme.

In any event, I’m too busy huffing the amazing smelling body creme to be of much more use.

My box arrived today! I’m never sure exactly when it arrives once it is near my post office. It can take anywhere from a day to three days.

I think this makes an excellent holiday box for me. I am excited to see a balancedguru product in the box. I discovered this product line through subscription boxes and love it. The scrub smells good with cinnamon and clove in it.

The vanilla shea butter creme smells delicious; it smells good enough to eat. It’s more solid than whipped. The gold polish is pretty and goes well with the eye shadow. It has a holiday feel. The notebook is a great size for my purse. I keep one in my purse at all times.

I will be ordering from the Balanced Guru website with the code that Goodebox provided. I’m glad the code for BG expires at the end of January! I’ve been hoping that a code will show up somewhere. I loved the oil from the summer FFF box and want to order more oil and a few other products.

I got mine today and I was waiting all along and was going to order a couple extra for gifts. After getting it in my hands, I will not do that. My box has the darling notebook, which I love. I went right to the website to order more, and they want $12 to ship up to $50 order, and the shipping goes up! So will. To be ordering. The au naturals packet is the same as the one from petit vour, minus the concealer. And it says inside if you place an order, the concealer will then come with it. The one that came in petit vour is very small, the container was only filled about 10% anyways. The scrub is nice, but again, it is only about half full. The body creme is nice, but for someone to really put on their whole body, that jar might last 2 applications. I do not use body lotion or cream, so I always use it on my hands which is fine for me,and I like the smell a lot. Luckily, the nail polish I got is a gold shimmer glitter instead of the ugly green that came with barebliss box. I like the box ok, but definitely will not give it away as a gift. After last month’s Tatcha, I thought this month would be good since it is Dec. For $20, you cannot beat popsugar. So I ended up getting my gifts there.

This is highly tempting. I’m still waiting on the breast cancer awareness box that I ordered at the discounted price. I got an email saying my trick or treat bonus box shipped, so that scares me a little to find out if it’s really the breast cancer awareness box I ordered.

My holiday box will be here in a few days. Can’t wait for it arrive.
