For anyone who has asked for a replacement item and has received the coupon code, if you see this, can you help?

I got a coupon code in my e-mail but everything is either sold out or I am unable to add it to my cart (it doesn’t say “sold out” but if I click “add to cart,” nothing shows up in the cart). I have tried two different web browsers. I can add coupon-ineligible items to my cart, just no coupon-eligible items. This is very frustrating.

I have a medium size dog box with an extra toy because my English Shepherd and Rat Terrier share it. I do make sure that anything my Rat Terrier eats is size appropriate since she is the smaller dog. It’s been a crazy couple of weeks and I barely remember what they got. I do the extra toy because both dogs are on the younger side and love their stuff animals. My Rat Terrier destroys all of hers and my English Shepherd carries them around like babies and will sometimes play retrieve with them. True to their breed.

I got the same box as Liz…and by “I” I mean Remington! He LOVES the plush toys in this box and slept with one last night. He seems to favor the mammoth for a game of fetch, and the “Adorable” snowman for cuddling and squeaking. Both of the dogs enjoyed the off Leash TWIGS which is saying something for Remington but not the Pitbull, Zeus, who will…literally…eat any treat set before him. I haven’t tried the salmon things yet…I was afraid they would be stinky, which seems to be the verdict.
All in all, another great box for Remington, and while he has a mountain of toys and I thought this month I might swap, they were just too cute and he was too interested to let them go!

I get the box for large dogs and my lab performs a squeaketomy within 2 minutes on most toys – his look of “oops, I did it again” is priceless though. Bark box has become my favorite pet surprise. While not everything is used, most is, and the treats are perfect for trials to find a favotie. My little dog joins in with the treats since she doesn’t like toys.

I got the large box too and everything the same as yours except the plush – my plush is a giant blue snowflake! Wonder how many variables there actually are. I gave my dog the trachea as soon as I opened the box and he loved it!

My sister got one toy-the snowman for her 60 lb dog. Just as well, he doesn’t like toys unless there is food in them

I have a big dog (a greyhound) so my box was very different from Liz’s (but also great!). We got:
– a large plush toy (a monster)
– a little box of pork stew
– salmon skins – long strips of skin that are chewy like rawhides – they’re smelly but Romeo really likes them
– 6″ Krunchie tube – basically a big chew, like a bone
– max & ruffy’s blizzard bites – little molasses & ginger cookies – unfortunately my dog was not into these and only ate half a cookie before dropping the rest of it on the floor… I will find another dog who likes them!

My dog loves squeaky toys so I’d love to see more of them, but in general I’m always happy with the quality of the products in BarkBox and Romeo loves it, too.

I got the same box with the monster toy and the salmon skins. We’ve gotten salmon skins for our digs once before and they lived them, so they were super excited but they do smell wretched. Ava likes the monster and Lando loved the treats. Ava lives for tracheas. We save so much money doing bark box because we impulse buy too much at the pet store!

The krunchie tube is a trachea. Eww. But I’m sure the dog will love it.

Ha, yeah, I saw that… at least I don’t have to eat it 🙂

Charlie is a rough chewer but hasn’t torn up the snowman yet.

Our two dogs dug into the plush toys with abandon. The mammoth is already missing an ear and the snowman is losing his stuffing from the chest piece. My wife and I thought the toys were very cute but we are questioning durability. This is only our second box and the first with plush toys, are our two girls just being too “ruff” with them or does anyone else experience a short lift-span? Thank you.

My large puppy destroys plush toys within the first day. I notified barkbox that he is a heavy chewer. They sent me a code to pick out something else for $15 (free shipping). They said they were going to mark his file so he wouldn’t receive plush toys in future boxes. Unfortunately, the last 3 boxes have included plush toys (which he promptly destroys). Each time I have contacted them & they have sent a $15 code for something else. Excellent customer service! I am hoping to receive no more plush toys though 😉

My dog got the exact same box as this one. The plush toys will last forever at my house, he is a cuddled, not a destroyer.

Some dogs are just really tough on plush toys. My last dog was as gentle as could be, she just licked them and held them in her mouth. She had quite a collection of plush toys as a result.

My current dog has DESTROYED all my last dog’s plush toys, even the ones I thought were really well-made.

Wow, the small dog and large dog boxes are quite different. I get the “large, heavy chewer” box from them (took a chance even though I’ve pretty much only seen reviews for “small” sizes) and got nothing that Liz shows above. However, the items I did get were appropriate for my dog (sadly, though, she already tore a hole in her plush toy and started eating stuffing…she LOVED that thing).

I also order the heavy chewer and I got a stuffed toy as well. I thought this was a mistake? I sent them an email but haven’t heard back yet

I’ve notified them at [email protected] the last three months due to receiving plush toys, even though my puppy is listed as a heavy chewer. They promptly sent me a code for $15 (free shipping) to use towards something else each time. Excellent customer service! (I really hope next month’s box doesn’t include a plush toy!)

Sneaky Burrito

Post here if you get a response. I’m curious.

This month was the best box I’ve ever received from Barkbox. My dog loved the salmon treats, and the box had a generous amount. He also will like the chew. We only got one plus toy – a big furry monster-like creature that so far, our dog does not seem interested in.

Sadly, when I emailed customer service to ask if I could pause my subscription for a couple of months due to personal reasons, instead of just saying “no, we can’t,” they cancelled my entire subscription. Since I’d gotten the subscription through their Black Friday deal, and since they won’t have savings like that again, I was upset that they didn’t ask before they cancelled me. There is a big difference between asking for a pause (which Citrus Lane, Wantables, and Hello Fresh let you do easily) and be willing to cancel entirely.

Correction: plush toy (not plus toy)
