Birchbox Man Subscription Box Review – February 2015 Box

Birchbox Man is a monthly grooming and lifestyle subscription box for men. Their lifestyle items tend to be formal (think ties, cufflinks, etc), so keep that in mind when subscribing!

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Birchbox Man Subscription Box Review – February 2015 Soap

Ernest Supplies Awake & Exfoliate Body Bar - 1 oz Value $2.50

Brickell Purifying Charcoal Face Wash - 1 oz Value $3

I love the scent of this body bar, the ingredients, and the fact that it has built in exfoliation - I'm stealing this one for myself.

I'm pretty tempted to keep this cleanser too - it is made with natural and organic ingredients, and I always like charcoal as a cleanser.

Birchbox Man Subscription Box Review – February 2015 Notebook

Malin + Goetz Peppermint Shampoo - 1 oz  Value $2.50

Rite in the Rain Field Flex All-Weather Memo Book - Value $4.95

This shampoo has a pure, and refreshing peppermint scent. I love it but I'm going to let my husband use this one. (I don't use any hair products that have sulfates in the ingredients since my hair is color treated). And also I'm totally hogging the products in this box!

This notebook is waterproof, so I imagine it is great for outdoor activities, or anyone who is spill-prone!

Birchbox Man Subscription Box Review – February 2015 Leather

This is Ground Cord Taco Grande 3-Pack - Value $30

These leather "tacos" hold headphones, charger cables, etc. I don't think I would have spent $30 on them, but I know we will use them, and I'm happy to get them in a $20 box.

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $43. I'm good with the value, and we'll use every single item, so that's what really counts. Plus I love that all the grooming products they sent this month have such wonderful natural scents!

What did you get from Birchbox Man this month?

We got our first Birchbox Man today. It’s March’s box! Is it common to get it this early, or is it just because it’s our first box? I subscribed three weeks ago, so, honestly, I was expecting our first box to be February’s. Needless to say, I was super surprised to get the March box in February. lol

Every Birchbox Man we’ve received up until this month has been great (Dec. and Jan.). However, this month was kind of a miss for us. This month’s box was a decent value, but we didn’t love any of the items. We got soap, a fragrance, and two pairs of socks. Also, what is up with all of the fragance?? This our fourth fragrance received in the man’s box since we started three months ago – there appears to be no option to limit how many we get in the man’s box (unlike the woman’s box)? It’s not that we hate fragrance so much as there is no way we are going to use it all up. We like it, just not every month.

My fiancé got much the same except for with the book and cord savers he got this really nice wallet money clip. Which was great for him since he needs a nice small one for vacation!

I only get birchbox man with 100 point codes, so every box is definitely worth $10 according to my bf.
Haven’t gotten his February box yet, very excited though!
