Bramble Box Subscription Box Review & Coupon - Feb 2015 Inside

The Subscription Box: Bramble Box Props

The Cost: $25

Ships to: US & Canada

What's better than a snow day? A snow day on which you get a box of playtime goodies in the mail! Bramble Box is geared towards children ages 3-8, and I'd say that upper cutoff is pretty accurate. My seven-year-old had a blast with this!

This month's theme was 'BAKERY'!

These two cards were included. On the left is a menu the child can post, and on the right is a list of activities he can do with all of the props included.

Bramble Box also included an order form, a plate, and some play money.

Bramble Box Subscription Box Review & Coupon - Feb 2015 Chef Gear

The big ticket item in this box, however, was the chef hat and apron! These are really nicely made, too!

Bramble Box Subscription Box Review & Coupon - Feb 2015 Goodies

This is not really an activity box like the children's craft boxes you might be familiar with, but this is a picture of the 'completed' cookies and cupcakes.

Verdict: This was an excellent snow day box! With many children's subscription boxes, I look forward to spending time with my kids, working on the activities together. But sometimes it's nice to get a break, and that's really what this box delivered. My son spent maybe two hours of uninterrupted play time with this, and all my husband and I had to do was 'pay for' the cookies when he delivered them. It's hard to comment on the value of this subscription because it obviously has to do with the curation and quality of the play time it inspires. I think the cost is comparable to a Melissa & Doug play set, and as I mentioned, the quality of the chef's gear is quite good. I guess I wish the rest wasn't just paper because paper items don't seem to last long in my house! Otherwise, I think it is a good service, and my son really enjoyed it.

What do you think of Bramble Box?
