Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March 2015 Tee

This is Stirred Tee - Value $15?

This design is exclusive to Loot Crate, and one of my husband's favorite tees from a geek box!

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March 2015 MadLibs

Field Agent Blink Time Wrist Watch - Value ? (Exclusive item for the box).

This Wrist Watch shows the time only when you press the face of the watch - otherwise it's just matte black. Below is a photo of the time display.

Spy Mad Libs - Value $4

This Mad Libs book is such a childhood flashback item for me! I think I'll pass it along to my cousin.

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March 2015 Orphan Black

Field Notes Confidential Notebooks (2) - Value $6

The design of these Field Notes notebooks is another Loot Crate exclusive for this box. One is lined notebook paper, and the other has graph paper.

Orphan Black Comic Book - Value $4

I believe this cover is exclusive to Loot Crate subscribers as well. My husband and I love Orphan Black, so this was a fun surprise to find in the box. (If you haven't seen the show yet - it's a very binge-worthy show - I recommend it! The first two seasons are free streaming on Amazon Prime too).

Free Digital Download of NINJAK #1 - Value $4

The box also included a code for a free comic digital download. (FYI - the URL is case sensitive).

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March 2015 Badge

Marvel Agents of SHIELD Replica Lanyard - Value ?

This is another exclusive subscriber item from eFX collectibles, so I'm not sure about what value to list.

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon – March 2015 Paracord

Paracord - Value $10?

This bracelet is made with military-grade parachute cord and can be unwrapped and used for all sorts of emergency or survival needs. And the pattern is another exclusive-to-Loot-Crate item! This video goes into detail on how to use it.

Verdict: There are quite a few exclusive items in this box that make it a little difficult to give a total retail value, but it definitely seems far over the $19 cost to me. The Orphan Black comic and the t-shirt are probably our favorite items in the box. And as always I appreciate that Loot Crate gets so many exclusive items, and knows how to do a themed box!

What do you think of the March 2015 Loot Crate box?

We had issues with a couple items this month. For one, be careful washing that shirt! It shrinks a TON, and also faded big time on the screen print. I contacted them about it and they asked me for pictures. I have sent them, and am waiting to see how they handle it. Also the watch keeps resetting itself to factory default every couple of hours. I emailed about that and they actually asked me to send a video of it. So I have replied asking them how they’d like me to make a video of a watch that malfunctions every few hours. Still waiting to hear on that as well. I’ll post how they handle it, because I like their boxes but I’m not sure about their customer service yet.

My older son wanted this for the AoS item which he loved. He also liked the shirt. He didn’t care much for the other items which I dispersed among family members. He’s discovered that he likes theme boxes that concentrate on a character or franchise better than boxes such as Loot Crate.

Loved the box this month! Made me so happy after the disaster I felt Nerd Block was

This is probably one of my favorite geek boxes(this month specifically). Things that one can put on a shelf and look at are fun, but I prefer stuff that I can use: watch, t-shirt, bracelet. They did a good job on the theme. My watch is blue.

Rhi

Your watch is blue!? I’m so jealous! Like bright blue? That’s awesome!

Emily

Bright blue might of been better, but its dark blue. Bright colors wouldn’t be too covert though.

Kate

Just here to say that I’m obsessed with Orphan Black! Also, that shirt is really, really cute.

My girlfriend and I LOVED this box! It was our very first LootCrate, and I’m so happy that we got it 🙂 I stole the parachute cord bracelet right away — I’ve been kinda wanting one for a while but couldn’t justify paying out for it lol. So that was exciting. Girlfriend loves the t-shirt! Everything else was pretty awesome, too… and I didn’t even spot the digital download thing. Will have to dig back in for it.

The AoS replica is really, really nice quality, and doesn’t feel flimsy at all. I really was pleased with it. I don’t likely AoS, but I like Marvel and it’s not specific to the show so much as it is the Marvel Cinematic Universe in general, which made me really happy as someone who just didn’t mesh with the show at all. It was nice to get something I can appreciate as a fan of the films without HAVING to know/like the show.

Also I’m completely in love with the top secret field notes. I keep telling my girlfriend I’m going to steal them. 🙂

Emmy and I had so much fun doing the covert assignment online yesterday.
She loved everything about this box especially the lanyard.
She found a nice thick velvet ribbon yesterday and started putting the pins on it. She had me attach it to the wall, it looks really cute.
Def her favorite so far 🙂

One of their most awesome boxes to date! I would say the value at least doubles, if not triples, the cost this time! And it was a bunch of items that appeased my husband, son and myself!

Rhi

The Agents of Shield lanyard rocked! Its my favorite show right now! I was so excited. And I also LOVE Orphan Black. I got two of the books in my crate! When does the show restart?

There is also an extra covert operation that you do online using the box to get the initial clue.

Faye

I shouldn’t admit this but I got stuck at the second clue. lol

Rhi

I didn’t know THAT! I’ll have to go back and look for it! Also, I had listed the parachute bracelet, but now I think my bro in law will get a huge kick out of it. He loves playing ‘survivalist’.

Heidi

The covert operation was so much fun. My daughter and I did it yesterday and if you complete it they put something extra in next month’s box.
My daughter got the black watch. I’m so glad she didn’t know it came in blue, that’s her favorite color. Maybe someone will put one online to swap after they complete their mission 🙂
