Black Tie Geek RPG Bow Tie - Value 8?

This is another exclusive item for the box. I think Loot Crate has included a few Black Tie Geek items over the years. Typically they aren't for us, but they make for good swap items.

Harry Potter Luggage Tag - Value $11

This Harry Potter tag is my favorite item in the box! I can't wait to put it on my suitcase.

Game of Thrones Magnet Set - Value $6?

I could only find a version of this magnet set online that includes 3 additional magnets, so I adjusted the price accordingly.

Game of Thrones USB Flash Drive - Value $15?

I think this 4 GB direwolf flash drive is such a great exclusive item! (That's why I'm not sure on the value of this item either).

We're big Game of Thrones fans, so these are both great additions to the box for us.

Inflatable Crown - Value $3?

This is a fun extra for a fantasy-themed box - I'm sure it will make a good photo prop!

The Princess Bride Deck of Cards - Value $15

Be careful going the Albino Dragon site (the maker of the Princess Bride card set) - it might make you want to buy more card decks! (Right now I'm thinking about getting the Breaking Bad and Ghostbusters decks).

Verdict: Since I love Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and The Princess Bride, this was a great box for me. The value is tough to calculate since there are so many exclusive items, but I'm estimating it to be about $70. I think Loot Crate does a great job at making themed boxes, and getting exclusives for the box - what do you think of the April Loot Crate box?

My 7yr. old son loves when he gets this box in the mail with his name on it. This box he loved especially the crown and bowtie . He wore both at least a week straight outside to play lol. He usually only plays with the stuff about a week and he forgets it exist. He loves the shirts though. They are usually to big even though its a small size (the sizes are adult small). This is our fourth month getting the box.

This was the Loot Crate that finally made me cancel my subscription. There’s just too many things in pop culture that I’m not a fan of. I don’t watch Walking Dead or Game of Thrones and have gotten a box almost completely devoted to each one. I’m switching to boxes that are more specifically targeted to specific themes.

So, I’m thinking I’m going to be in the minority, but I signed up just to get this box and I’m not really happy with it. I’m an adult with a very small tolerance for myself in looking silly or goofy, so the crown will probably never get used. I don’t watch game of thrones and while I love the Princess Bride, I have enough playing cards to last a lifetime and never use them. The bowtie, well maybe I can gift it, cause I won’t use it. So the only thing I’m really ever going to use is the luggage tag. The only problem is, I don’t travel.

Oh I forgot the shirt, other than the fact that it’s very red and I usually wear black, I like it.

Love this crate! My boyfriend is clamoring for the GOT items. He REALLY likes the magnets. The cards are for a stocking stuffer for a friend’s fiancee.

The crown is mahn. I rule my room haha. My birds love to whistle at it. The shirt is nice and soft, but I’m not a D&D fan. *I know I know*

The HP tag I put on my luggage. The bow tie I’m going to give to a teen boy. So swag.

I got this box too and I love everything in it. The Harry Potter luggage tag, GoT USB drive, and GoT magnets are my favorite items. I decided to cancel the next month’s box to save a bit of dough, but if they keep coming up with more awesome themes, I’ll have to jump right back on it.

I just noticed the inside of my box says Pull Here to Turn Inside Out. I haven’t seen the box turned inside out in any of the unboxing videos I’ve watched and I’m just wondering if it is something superspecial or will I just end up with an inside out box. I generally recycle the boxes to wrap birthday/holiday gifts in so I don’t want to destroy a box just for fun.

I just did this after I read your comment. It does completely turn inside out and you just bend the creases to get into the box form again. I love how it looks. This will now be on my shelf holding the things I can’t display. 🙂
