Wantable Intimates Subscription Box Review – April 2015

I only got 3 items this month – a cute cami and boyshort set, and a bra. I do feel that their boxes aren’t a wonderful as they used to be either.

I got the same bra in burgandy, I love it, A matching lace panty, also love it. The other two items I gave away, I got a bralet that absolutely would not work, I wear a D cup and it was like a training bra, I gave it to my daughter. The last Item I really liked but,it was a polka dot mint maxi and I’m only 5 foot tall! I gave it to my 6 foot 3 inch sister who wears the same size I do and it still brushes the floor on her! I wound up cancelling because I can take the same 40 and go to a store in town and get what I need.

I feel like those items are very similar to what I see on Ross clearance racks. :/ I have much better luck with Adore Me and Yandy.

I got:
great pair of lounge pants in beige (really like)
looooong maxi nightgown in mint (meh)
pair underwear (ok)

So while I like these things enough, for $40 I agree that I could probably do better at TJ Maxx or Marshalls, and then only get exactly what I really like. I’ve also been having a hard time with the sizing. XL is sometimes too small, 1x too large, L sometimes works — there’s been alot of weird sizing sent to me.

I got the spring fling pj’s in mint and have been loving them. Super comfortable and the cotton is getting softer with every wearing. I definitely agree that the value on these boxes has taken a dive, but I was encouraged to see four items in Liz’s box this month. I actually got 4 also – two pj sets. Seems promising. I love this box too much to cancel even though the value has decreased.

Remember when Wantable Intimates used to be good?

You could hashtag stalk the box on social media and find lots of monthly reviews and photos of really great boxes. Now it seems like a shadow of its former days. Too bad it’s become so disappointing.

I received the same pj set a couple months ago in mint, not quite my style but they are comfy and I am lacking transitional season nightwear. This month I received a lace bralette with matching hip huggers and also a maxi nightgown also in mint. Everything is nice, but not exceptional blow my socks off. I think for the $40 I can make out better at TJMaxx. Sorry wantables, I gave it a go, but it’s not happening.

I got the same pajama set in an ugly light blue color and an ungodly moo-moo nightgown thing. I requested tanks and lounge pants and maybe even a soft sports type bra but they didn’t deliver at all. I returned the whole box and now I’m wondering if I should order a May one or just skip out. Since they now have their fitness and style boxes (WAYYY overpriced clothing), the regular boxes have taken a HUGE dive. Blah.

I had stopped ordering when the products began seeming cheaper, I called in this month and my stylist walked me through my request s and what they had….they won me back

I haven’t gotten this in a few months and I do not miss it. It just looks so boring. Adore me is the same price or less (they frequently have $5 or $10 coupons) and you get to pick exactly which 2 piece set you get. For me, I would rather get 2 pieces that I love 🙂

I got the spring fling set last month, but mine did not smell and I do like it. But I notice that you have received more items than I have. I only receive 3 items. I know they changed their policies, but I am considering cancelling the subscription. Maybe the value is about the same.

I received the Spring Fling set in another color in my last box and it had a really unpleasant smell. Not really a “nasty” smell but just more of a “chemically” smell. Did yours smell weird, Liz? I’ve washed it a few times and can still smell it!
