Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon – May 2015 Unboxing

Inside the mini-mag are articles, and the back pages are dedicated to the items included in the box.

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon – May 2015 Tee

Flophouse Green Ranger T-Shirt - Value $12?

This shirt is made with 100% heavy cotton, with a design by Flophouse, and it is exclusive to this box.

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon – May 2015 Marvel

Marvel Ice Cube Tray - Value $10

Marvel Sneaker Laces - Value $7

About a year or two ago it seemed like I was getting ice cube trays in every other subscription box (this may be due in part to Fancy boxes), but when I saw this one I realized we haven't received ice cube trays in a while! This set would be great for making chocolates, jello, etc. too.

Subscribers will receive one of two versions of these shoelaces. (Colored or the grey version we received). I like how super subtle and wearable these are - I'm glad we got the grey!

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon – May 2015 Mad Magazine

MAD Magazine Loot Crate Edition - Value ?

Bravest Warriors Tales from the Holo John #1 - Value ?

I'm not sure what a regular version of Mad Magazine looks like, but this one is 32 pages long. It also came with details on how to get a free digital copy of MAD magazine for iPad.

This Bravest Warriors comic is another exclusive, so I'm not sure how to determine the value.

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon – May 2015 Puzzle

Rick and Morty 300-piece Jigsaw Puzzle - Value ?

Another exclusive item! (Loot Crate is pretty amazing when it comes to getting exclusives in each box). My husband was excited to see a Rick and Morty item in the box, and apparently they made the exclusive a jigsaw puzzle since co-creator Justin Roiland loves puzzles!

Loot Crate Subscription Box Review & Coupon – May 2015 Pins

Team Fortress 2 Button Set - Value ?

Avengers Age of Ultron Car Decal - Value $4?

The buttons are another exclusive to Loot Crate. I know buttons are really popular in geek boxes, but we've never been that into them, so these will likely get swapped.

(I'm guessing on the value of the car decal since I can't find this exact one online).

Verdict: I think this is a pretty great box for $19. Loot Crate has been doing a great job of getting exclusives for their box, and that adds a lot of value in my opinion - it also allows them to make some great themed boxes. What do you think of the May Loot Crate Box?

is loot crate reliable, belivable, and worth to get

It is definitely reliable and always has a good value to it. Rarely do you get items that you can find in stores, though it’s hit or miss if you’re into the items they include. If you’re interested in buying, I recommend going through past month reviews to see if it’s worth ~$18 to you.

I actually really liked this crate! it is gear I can actually use & my kids also love it. the value for the box is also there, which I think is also a positive.

I’m really tired of the trend I see towards all the items being Loot Crate branded. I subscribe to these boxes for geeky things, not Loot Crate things.

Yikes! Glad I didn’t get this month’s box.

After last month’s inflatable crown, I’m waiting for ashens on youtube’s review. It really was the only thing that made the inflatable crown worth it.

I got the colored laces but they’re too flashy for me. Would anyone like to swap for the blk n wht pair?

Really been let down by lootcrate. I’ve received the April and May crate and thought they were ok, but they don’t contain anything that I feel was worth the money (namely just because I don’t like the items/ have no use for them)

Oh well! At least the shirts are nice, and I got some tf2 flair out of it.

For some reason I thought it was going to be a Marvel or DC shirt. I’d be too embarrassed to go out in public with a Power Ranger shirt so I’m going to use it for sleeping. lol. But it’s still worth the price to me so I can’t complain but I will not keep my subscription.

I had a good run with Loot Crate and canceled last month. This wasn’t too bad of a box, but glad I didn’t get it.

Idk, I think I’m done with Loot Crate. Ice cube trays and shoe laces and inflatable Burger King crowns really aren’t doing it for me. Out of the five boxes this year, I probably only cared for one item.

I have it and don’t want it. Do you have anything to swap? 🙂 Or want to buy it for cost and shipping to you?
