Wantable Intimates is one of the subscriptions from Wantable, and it is probably my favorite box they offer. Like all Wantable subscriptions, you can heavily customize what they send you by filling out your preferences – and you still get to be surprised!

Wantable kindly sent me this box to review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Wantable Intimates Subscription Box Review – May 2015 Info

Wantable Intimates Subscription Box Review – May 2015 Preferences

When you first sign up for any Wantable subscription you take a style quiz and you can get very specific about the items you want and don’t want. (This is the list of my loves, likes and dislikes from my invoice).

Wantable Intimates Subscription Box Review – May 2015 Bra

Daisy Fuentes Criss Cross Bra - Value $30 (My Price $18.18)

I'm not sure if Daisy Fuentes still makes lingerie (I only found Amazon and ebay listings when I searched for this bra), so it may be older stock. It's new in terms of tags though:

Wantable Intimates Subscription Box Review – May 2015 Lining

This bra is an underwire pushup bra with a close in front clasp and criss-cross straps in the back. I like the bra (the pink lining is fun), but I wish the straps themselves didn't say Daisy Fuentes all over them!

Wantable Intimates Subscription Box Review – May 2015 Tank

Pajama Drama Pom Pom Tank - Value $18 (My Price $10.91)

Wantable Intimates Subscription Box Review – May 2015 Pants

Pajama Drama Pom Pom Pant - Value $18 (My Price $10.91)

I think it's time for me to change my preference settings on this subscription. This look is a little too much pink/pastel for me, and I know those little pom poms would annoy me if I was trying to sleep!

Verdict: This isn't my favorite Wantable Intimates box - but I think that is in part my own doing. My preferences are pretty limited, and I have been getting a lot of Pajama Drama sets as a result. Time to change it up for June!

Hey Lis, I am not a pink girl either – but give those PJs a try. They are the softest, most comfortable ones I have received. They machine washed well. Now I want them in the purple “map of the world” design!

I was not happy with this month’s box. I received a thermal long sleeve romper and a sheer bralette and matching sheer panty. I live in Texas and long sleeve thermal anything is not good too asleep in TX weather! I’ve only subbed to this box for several months and have liked every box I’ve received. This entire box is unfortunately going back.

I just got my first box and also got a thermal… I live in VA and it’s definitely in the 80’s and 90’s here right now and the LAST thing I want on my body is anything thermal!

I got my first box yesterday. I got a white tank/shorts set with a tribal print and ruffles, a pink/orange striped maxi dress and a pair of Real underwear boyshorts made of lace. I am returning the maxi and the boyshorts. I signed up over the weekend and got the 30% deal so my box was only $28 and I am getting back $17 for returning these two items (the maxi was the highest priced item in the box).

I thought you could always return either the whole box or individual items? I’ve returned partial boxes for credit before.

I think you’re right, Michelle, but there was something weird with the way they calculated how much you got back. I remember seeing a graph with paid vs. “value” that showed why it was better to keep all the items. I’m thinking you had to keep a high value item and could only get back a percentage of the total. (Like you’d end up sending the majority of your box back for $10). I never sent anything back before with the old policy because I felt it was more cost effective to just swap the items on the swap site.

I received this pjs list month and they hold up well in the washer and dryer. Pom poms are still intact after several washings 🙂

I got my intimates order the other day and I couldn’t believe how great it was! I recieced two bras, one has a back with lace and it is so pretty! My other one was light blue and matched the two piece lingere set I received. It actually came with 4 pieces and the value was $84.00. It was definitely the best one I’ve ever gotten.

Kind of a big difference

It seems like they back into the your price based on the prices of all the items that they provide you. Maybe your other items cost more than Liz’s bra?

WOW! They included a matching pajama set! When I ordered intimates in the past, none of the items matched. The pompoms are very interesting. I cant see them washing well, unless washed by hand. – It will be interesting to see what you get in June. The fun part about wantable is changing the preferences.
