The Truth Is Out There X-Files T-shirt - Value $12?

This is a heavier 50/50 Polyester/Cotton blend t-shirt. This is a great shirt, and nice ode to the X-Files. I'm always excited to get a shirt that isn't a mashup!

Geek Fuel Subscription Box Review + Coupon – June 2015 - books

Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton - Value $6

The Lost World by Michael Crichton - Value $6

I opened this box shortly after seeing Jurassic World, and had just considered buying and re-reading Jurassic Park - so the timing couldn't be better for me. I remember reading this and doing a book report on it for 6th grade. I think it's time to refresh my memory on it.

I haven't read The Lost World - so I am definitely excited about seeing if it is better than the movie, which shouldn't be too hard.

90's Mutant Hero Ooze - Value $2?

First of all, I cracked up when reading the name of this item. Love that work around naming of TMNT. I would have loved this as a kid, but it's a swap item for me now.

Super Win The Game Steam Download Code - Value $10

While I don't use steam on my Mac, I know that a lot of people LOVE it - so I should probably get on it and redeem some of these games! This is the differentiator for Geek Fuel, they always include a video game download code - so if you want to get some geeky items while ensuring that you definitely get a Steam code, this would be the geek box for you.

Finish It!! Book Mark - Value $1?

I like that they included a bookmark with the Jurassic Park books. Plus, I love the Mortal Kombat pic and theme.

Mighty Morphin Magnets - Value $2?

There were 5 possible Power Rangers color magnets you could have received. I received the Red Power Ranger. I never got into the Power Rangers, so this seems like a good swap item for anyone wanting to complete a set.

VERDICT: My biggest gripe with Geek Fuel is that they don't have themes! It makes it a bit harder to choose it over other geek boxes out there that release themes spoilers, especially if you're only choosing one geek box that month. That being said, it did some of my favorite items from a geek box this month, most notably the Jurassic Park series. This box would instantly become much more valuable to me if I download Steam...sounds like a good weekend activity!

If you love this box - it's still available! You have 3 days left to order it!

What do you think of this month's Geek Fuel?

They do have themes. The June 2015 box theme was 90’s 🙂 May’s theme was Summer Mayhem, April’s theme was Team etc

Receiving books so you know the origins of a geeky theme is really nice ! I wish more boxes would do that. Also, the key is really awesome.

I’m laying in bed and I just subbed! Husband and I will fight over the shirt (oh oops did I order my size??? I’m so out of it post surgery 2 weeks ago). He will still everything else.

Geek Fuel actually does have themes. This months theme was 90’s. They announce the theme a few days before they ship it out on their facebook page.

I’m not sure how I messed that on the cover of the booklet. I’ll keep an eye out on their Facebook page – thanks!

My older son saw Jurassic World and loved it. He reread the books to prepare himself for the movie. He takes these things seriously. 🙂 I think it is a great idea they included the books.
