Fekkai Soleil Hair Mist - 1.7 oz Value $6.80

Based on the card, it looks like there will be variation in which Fekkai product everyone receives. I'm happy with this selection. It's designed to give your hair protection from the sun. It's a really lightweight formula, and the scent is pretty subtle too.

SinfulColors Professional Nail Color in Supernova - FULL SIZE! Value $1.99

This nail polish is 3-Free, and a colors-may-vary item in the box. This brand is new to me, and I like this Supernova metallic shade.

target-beauty-box-summer-2015-olay

OLAY Regenerist Luminous HydraSwirl Eye Cream - FULL SIZE! Value $23

This eye cream has a formula that is somewhere between a gel and a cream. I really like how my skin feels after I apply it, and I can detect just a hint of of the luminousness thanks to those white swirls in the bottle. It's also unscented - something I always appreciate in skincare. I'll need to use it for a few weeks to see if I see any difference in my under eye darkness, but so far I'm a fan.

target-beauty-box-summer-2015-cutex

Cutex Advanced Revival Nail Polish Remover Pads (3) Value $1.20

In general I prefer acetone-free nail polish remover because the smell bothers me a little, but these will be good to keep as backup.

target-beauty-box-summer-2015-lipstick

Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in 875 Gladiolus - FULL SIZE! Value $7.99

This lipstick is made with a wax-free gel, and I can tell the difference from regular lipstick formulas. This one feels more lightweight. It still has a ton of pigment though! Here is a swatch:

target-beauty-box-summer-2015-swatch

Verdict: I'm always happy with Target Beauty Boxes, and this is another great one! The value is amazing for the $7 cost - I received about $41 worth of items. (And three of the items are full size!) What do you think of the Summer 2015 Target Beauty Box? Were you able to grab one (or more) before they sold out?

I signed up to your newsletters just so i wouldn’t miss target beauty boxes, but i’m still missing out on them. By the time you post about target boxes, they are already sold out online 🙁 How can i buy them or not miss them???

I received the box quickly. My two favorite items are the eye cream bd bail Polish removers. My nail Polish us a metallic blue which is great because blue us my favorite color and the package arrived right around my birthday so it was a cool birthday “gift”. I haven’t noticed a great deal if frizz reduction with the hair oil but I do have some major hair frizzage. I gave not tried the lipstick out yet just because I gave been all about my SPF lip treatments with color this month.

The OLAY Regenerist Luminous HydraSwirl Eye Cream is actually not full size. I think the website used the 0.5 oz photo, but if you read the description, it says 4 oz for $23.99. Hope this helps!

Reply ButtonReply

Linda

Oops, sorry, it’s 5 oz for $23.99.

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

Linda, Nope! I saw that, too, and was confused at first, but if you read all the way down, you will see that it says .5 fl oz. http://www.target.com/p/olay-regenerist-luminous-dark-circle-correcting-hydraswirl-eye-cream-5-oz/-/A-14998524

I also price checked (online) Walmart, CVS, etc – the .5 is the full size. CVS is selling it for $30.99. *gulp* But Walmart is a little cheaper at closer to $20.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who double checks prices, though!

Marissa

Okay so I ordered two women’s boxes and one men’s and no delayed shipping notice was sent to me, HOWEVER I have been stalking the page for shipping updates like a hawk and I used a red card. I ordered within 4 minutes of Liz posting these were available (I know, I have a problem) and yet no box. but FINALLY it says out for delivery now with the tracking they posted on the page (never sent to me). If i get the spring boxes I will be sooooo mad. I got two of those and one is still sitting in my room untouched other than the lipstick which was gifted. I will post which I get tonight. I’m happy to get something since it seems many orders were canceled but being charged $7 for the $5 box is not okay

Reply ButtonReply

Marissa

Just got the boxes and they are the summer! Same box as Liz

Reply ButtonReply

Ashley

Well, I got my box today, finally. I’m not a happy camper. I was charged $7 for the Summer box, but they sent me the $5 Spring box, which I’d already gotten in April. I’m going to reach out to them and see what they say. At a minimum, I want my $2 back, but I really didn’t want another Spring box.

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

The same thing happened to me! I was so excited to get the summer box, too 🙁 I hope they are still able to send them out to us.

Reply ButtonReply

Ashley

Unfortunately, they told me they were out and could not send me the summer box. I’m having to return the spring box I received in order to get a refund. I’m not happy. I wish they’d just canceled my order.

Anna

mine was canceled too– I wonder what happened

Reply ButtonReply

Liza

I received the same delay and then cancellation email. I sent Target a nasty email although I’m sure they won’t care. I ordered mine almost as soon as they went on sale so I told them I wanted to know exactly how they decided who got their boxes shipped and who’s were cancelled. If they are able to say when a box is sold out then they should be aware of how many boxes they have. It doesn’t make any sense to me.

Reply ButtonReply

Beth

Wow! Well, I had been annoyed before that my box hadn’t shipped, but at least it’s on the way. One of my friends who ordered after me definitely got hers already, and I did receive the men’s box right away, so it must not have been done on a “first-come-first-serve” basis. My friend wondered if it’s because she used a Red Card, but I didn’t use one and my men’s box was shipped right away.. so that still doesn’t explain it. Now I’m curious as to if I’ll get another spring box! I sure hope not..

Reply ButtonReply

Katherine

My women’s box and the men’s box I ordered for hubs for father’s day were both cancelled. I am so sad about it. I ordered really soon and people I know that ordered after me got there boxes. Not sure how Target decided who got a box and who did not.

Reply ButtonReply

Lindsey A

I’m bummed (and a little upset). I initially received the email saying there will be a delay in shipping, now I received the email saying my order was cancelled! I haven’t received the gift card email yet. I’m hoping it really does come through.
What makes me most upset is the FAQ section says they won’t charge your credit card until the order ships. Well, my card was charged! There better be a refund coming too!

Julie

I just got the same email too :(. I initially just got the delayed order email this morning. I was really looking forward to it too! Booooooooooo. 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Raquel

I just got that same email. I ordered as soon as Liz posted and ordered the mens ones on a diff order. Got both mens boxes but got my womens boxes cancelled. Anybody have full boxes for sale or swap? Soooooo sad!

Reply ButtonReply

Raquel

I will even send you my Target gift card code for it when I get that email. Raquelslaughter at gmail.

Katherine

Sigh, I just got an email from Target saying that my order has been delayed. Now the estimated shipping is 6/25-6/29. I don’t know why mine took longer since I pretty much ordered mine as soon as Liz posted the original post about it. Well, at least it wasn’t cancelled. Still looking forward to it, but I just wish I had it now. Haha.

I am completely unimpressed with Target. They somehow sent both boxes to an old address that I haven’t lived at for almost 10 years. I have never ordered from Target before or ever had a Target card so I don’t even know how my old address came up. They told me oh well. No way to correct the address and resend it when it comes back to them. Will never buy from Target again. Anyone who hasn’t gotten your box yet check the shipping address. My address was right on the checkout page and shipping email but in the warehouse the wrong address got used.

Reply ButtonReply

liddybug

Oh and ps-the post office told me they could try to intercept them and route the boxes back to me with the correct address but I would almost certainly have postage due for all the extra shipping. So annoyed with Target lol they did say they would refund my card when they get the boxes back.

Reply ButtonReply

liddybug

Update: the men’s box showed up yesterday shockingly with no postage due. The women’s box hasn’t reached Target yet and hasn’t been rerouted to me so we’ll see what happens there. My husband loves his box so I’m happy with that.

Hi, got my box today, shipped to CA. It was processing for a few days and then finally shipped and got here fast :). I got the Gladiolous shade of lipstick, which isn’t my favorite, the Sinful polish in Boom Boom (a pretty Magenta) and a Fekkai brilliant glossing creme, plus the nail polish remover wipes. I was surprised the Olay eye product was so small (0.5fl) but I guess you don’t need as much. Overall, totally love my box 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

My box came in today and I got the same variations. Slightly bummed about the Fekkai product because glossing creme is definitely not something my oily enough to have to wash every day hair needs – I was really hoping for the hair mist Liz got – but the value is awesome and I’m happy my box came through.

Reply ButtonReply

Rachel

Ugh. Target delivered mine to an old address and the post office decided not to forward it to my new addresss, so I’m out of luck. 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

liddybug

Me too. I am completely unimpressed by Target. I’ve lived at my current address for almost 10 years!! No idea how my old address even came up.

Reply ButtonReply

acidofoliate

i loved everything else in the box save the nail polish, but that’s hardly where the value really was. i love the gladiolus lippysticky, and i like the subtle dewy shimmer of the eyecream. the fekkai sunflower oil spray is wonderful for days i airdry, really: leaves my natural waves soft and unfrizzed.

Reply ButtonReply

Lindsay

I just got mine today! I am actually very happy with it, especially since I was able to nab free shipping. I got a light blue polish which is super fun. 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Betty

I ordered numerous boxes of the men’s and women’s, mine came in today. I received the same items as Liz, the only color variations in some of the boxes was the nail polish. I love both boxes, though I am a little scared of that bright red lipstick lol

Reply ButtonReply

Samantha

I haven’t gotten mine yet 🙁 Target site says delivery date between the 10th & 15th..what?. I ordered mine right away too. I received my Spring box much quicker. I would be quite shocked if they let you order it and then just ran out! I am excited to see there is a variation in the nail color. Sinful colors is sold at my local Walmart, I think I have one bottle I don’t recall the staying power. Hopefully I get a box tho…

Reply ButtonReply

Mary Beth

Last time there was a wide variation in how long it took people to get theirs. I doubt very seriously that they will run out.

Reply ButtonReply

Corinna

I haven’t received mine yet either! I ordered both the summer beauty box and the father’s day box. My order still says it is in processing mode. Hasn’t even shipped.

Reply ButtonReply

Ren

Do you know if we can exchange the nail polish for a different color?

Reply ButtonReply

Annie

It would be worth a try if you will be shopping at Target anyway. I would bring your receipt and say that the color is different in the photo and ask if you can pick one out. The worst they can do is say no.

That being said it is a $2 polish. If they say no, you can use your polish to decide if you like the formula.

Reply ButtonReply

Beth

I’d be really surprised if they let you exchange this… I would think if you wanted to return/exchange, you’d have to do it for the whole box as it’s technically a single product. I’m not even sure if they carry that size of the Sinful colors in stores as these are probably just samples, though I could be wrong. I usually just swap or gift to others.

Reply ButtonReply

Randi

I’m not sure about exchanging… I’ve never tried to exchange something like this at Target.

Reply ButtonReply

Randi

I don’t think I’d heard of or noticed Sinful Colors before, but I tried it last night and love it so far. I only did one coat (I got Supernova) and it was awesome. Might put on a second coat in a day or two, but it dried fast and covered really good. I’m going to look next time I’m at Target and maybe get another color to try out. I usually don’t buy cheaper polish bc it doesn’t seem to be good or last very long, but I’m impressed with this so far. So glad I got the Target Beauty Box so I could try it.

Consumer report did a review of sinful colors last year and tested it among many more expensive brand names like Chanel and it came out way on top! I love using it for the seasonal trends that I know I wont wear a lot. http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/magazine/2014/07/find-a-nail-polish-that-lasts/index.htm

Reply ButtonReply

Kimberly

Liz, can’t believe you’ve not heard of Sinful Colors! http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/magazine/2014/07/find-a-nail-polish-that-lasts/index.htm

Last year it was all over the news as being way better in lasting and cost than 100% of top name brand polishes! $2 and lasts days longer than $27 Chanel!

Andrea

I was kind of bummed with this box (but with a price of $7 and a value of $40 I’m not too mad) I didn’t realize that the hair products were going to vary and I got some sort of hydrating cream, would have prefered the dry shampoo that was pictured on the website or even the sun spray that others seemed to receive. The lipstick I was excited about because I had gotten that brand (and it turns out same color >.<) in the Allure beauty box and was excited to get another shade (so I thought) But no such luck, same shade as the Allure box (must be a popular shade for summer!) So I will see if I can gift it to someone, it's a pretty bright shade so I may not have too many takers. The nail polish color I got is a fire engine red (not a fan too much of an orange tone) so I'll be giving that away as well. The eye cream is a good value though and I can always use nail polish remover pads (for when I don't peel all my nail polish off anyway) I'll still keep getting the box's because they are an insane value and a fun way to try new products.

I wear those dark lipsticks as a base. I apply a light color on top. Gives them real staying power and this way I can adjust the color to my mood of the day. Love this box.

vikki

Received mine yesterday. Not too happy with it. I already had the same nail polish and the lip stick was a horrible bright red….. Something my grandmother would have worn. Looking forward to using the eye cream and hair stuff though.
