Burke Decor Home Subscription Box Review – August 2015 Box

Burke Box
3.5 overall rating

Burke Decor recently launched a subscription box service. They offer two different options: A Spa Box, or a Whole Home Box. (If you go with the Spa Box, you can pick from Cool + Fresh, Warm + Earthy and Floral + Fruit).

I love the idea of home decor subscription boxes, and I wish there were more of them, so I immediately signed up for the Whole Home Box.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

This box came in a larger cardboard box, so the black boxes arrive in perfect condition and are great for reusing. (The blanket picture below also didn't fit in the inner black box).

Everything this month came in its own packaging, so if you're interested in re-gifting or swapping any of the items, you're good to go!

This box came with a sheet detailing all the items included.

Burke Decor Home Subscription Box Review – August 2015 Blanket

Windsor Platinum Fringed Fleece Throw by Pine Cone Hill - Value $98

I am in love with this throw blanket! It is 60% Cotton/40% Acrylic, and definitely the classiest fleece fabric I've ever seen or felt! And look at the fringe!

It's big enough to give me complete cozy coverage when I'm on the couch too! (50" by 70").

Burke Decor Home Subscription Box Review – August 2015 Notebook

Paseo Embossed Black Notebook by Christian Lacroix - Value $15

This fits in the category of subscription box items I refer to as "Things I'd never go out and buy, but now that they're in my hands, I'll never let go!"

It is probably the chicest little notebook I've ever seen. I love the embossing detail:

Burke Decor Home Subscription Box Review – August 2015 Honey Mug

Honey Grand Cup By Sir/Madam - Value $16

This is a slightly oversized mug. Here it is in my hand for some sense of scale:

This cup is microwave and dishwasher safe, and I believe all subscribers will receive the Honey variation. (I may buy one or a few more to make a set).

Verdict: This is a perfect Home Decor box for me. The value is there (about $129), and I love that this box has a wonderful luxe/cozy feel. I want to curl up in that blanket and drink tea from my Honey mug! What do you think of the August Burke Decor box?

That throw is gorgeous! I would subscribe in a heartbeat, except gray doesn’t go with my decor. 🙁

I am not into home décor and really have none but I really have loved reading reviews of this box. I am seriously thinking of subbing. I have to decide what will be dropped to get it. I am dropping a hair sub and will be dropping a beauty one soon so I will prob take the leap then!

Received my box today and it is perfection. I have to agree with other comments that Burke Décor is a favorite monthly subscription. Useful items that are well thought out and add a touch of class and a bit of whimsy to my home. I am so glad I am a monthly subscriber and their sales on the website are also great. I have a huge jump on my Christmas shopping done.

I am seriously loving this sub. The only box I didn’t love was the one with the electric salt & pepper grinders and I (mysteriously) didn’t receive that one.

Every single box has been awesome! 😀

I’m very happy with Burke Box this month! The mug is already my new favorite – I’m been using it all week for my evening decaf or tea. The notebook is beautiful and I love the small size – perfect for sticking in a purse. Not sure whether I’m going to keep the throw or gift it at Christmas so it’s awesome that it came in its own packaging.

This is my first Burke Home decor box and I am hooked! The blanket in real life is amazing. Pictures do not do it justice. I can’t wait for next month!

I’d try the online chat – or emailing them – that’s how I got one!

I chatted online with them today and was told Sept 2 was the last day you could order the August box. However, they are considering bringing it back due to demand – only it may be more expensive. You can ask to be notified via email if/when they bring it back.

chris

Just tried. No more available. Orders are for September box now. (This was August.)

I used to subscribe to 8 boxes a month and cancelled all but this and Rachel Zoe. Hands down my 2 favorite subscriptions! Can’t wait to get my box!!

In just 2 months of subscribing this has risen to the status of my hands-down favorite subscription. The curation is amazing, everything they have sent has been luxe AND usable, and not a black eyeliner in sight 😉

Love it – just ordered this box for myself yesterday! Can’t wait to get it, the blanket looks so cozy and soft, and the other 2 items are great as well.
Also love Burke Box’s customer service, I emailed and did the online chat about getting the August box (or whatever this one is) and they were very helpful.
