Naomi Kyle + Rosario Dawson Quarterly Box Spoilers!

I was just charged for my package today….so 2 more weeks until it ships right?

Sigh….this was gift for a friend of mine ( she’s a huge Rosario Dawson fan)

I just heard from Quarterly that this box is shipping (FINALLY) this week. I really hope it’s a good one. The delay, coupled with the lack in communication, has been outrageous and I think a lot of us are looking to this box as a potentially final nail, if you will, or the possible redemption of this box and Quarterly.

Has anyone heard of any updates with the Rosario Dawson box? I am still waiting for this endless summer box, with no release date in site. Have been waiting since April when I signed up for it. I was not a fan of the monthly boxes, actually the only boxes I have really LOVED are the ‘Book Riot’ boxes. Keeping my hopes up for the Rosario Dawson one, but my hopes have been slowly fading away! Any updates would be great! thanks.

I agree with all you ladies!! A 4th of July inspired apron is not at all something to get excited about. The other thing that has me worried is they finally release a spoiler and it’s that!!!! Makes me worried about what the rest of the items look like! You normal try to draw people in with your best item and if this is it. Then oooooh, boy I’m in trouble!! Plus, where do they get quarterly from? Doesn’t quarterly normally mean 4? Well then someone should tell them because the last box came out in April and it’s now almost October. Where did summer go? The boxes I seen in the past looked so good. Figures when I finally sign up it will be crappy, boooo?

LOL, “Endless Summer”, Quarterly? With their recent track record, you can be sure that box isn’t going to ship until December at best.

Was still excited about the Rosario Dawson box even with the delays, then I saw this 4th of July Apron. – Ughh – Taking the chance i wont like the rest of the box and skipping it due this pattern being best suited for Memorial Day – Labor Day. I’m guessing that by the time everyone gets their boxes it will be end of October, which makes this spoiler so much more undesirable.

Oh and p.s. an apron that had to be hand washed. Ahh that is not something anyone wants to do to an apron. You wear one, get it splotched with tomatoes sauce and throw it in the wash. Not hand wash.

I’m not sure how many people wish to receive a July 4th inspired apron in October but I’d sure don’t. If this box Was received then I would have been excited but now in the fall the last thing I’m thinking about is a July 4th inspired apron.

I hope the game code is for Steam. It was not fun to get a game code for a gaming system we didn’t own last time. :/

When I got the email from quarterly my initial thought was, “They are still in business?”. I didn’t even open the email since I never see myself ordering anything from them. Their model is seriously flawed with all of the delays I read about on here.

I gave up on Quarterly. It’s a great idea, just not very well executed, unfortunately. I’ve found that I’m better off waiting until they have a sale!

The apron is far less appealing in the fall when it obviously was supposed to be for the 4th of July. At this point it will be winter before they get that box out, and I’m already putting those summer items away. Quarterly really has gone downhill.

Seems like that 4th of July box just didn’t happen for RD 😉 Endless summer…endless wait is more like it.
