geek-fuel-oct-2015-info

Each box comes with a card detailing the items included.

geek-fuel-oct-2015-mag

It also comes with a Geek Guide mini mag. There's a great Back To The Future section showing off products that we have today that are similar to the movie. And, while I don't drink soda anymore, I really want a Pepsi Perfect!

Video Games Live T-shirt - Value $10?

This month Geek Fuel partnered with Video Games Live for this exclusive t-shirt. I hadn't heard of VGL until I received this shirt, but it sound interesting. Basically, it's a concert featuring orchestras and choirs performing the best video games music!

The Force Sleeps Pillowcase - Value $15

I couldn't find that exact pillowcase with this font - but it's very close, so I used that as the value. Just in time for the new trailer from The Force Awakens, comes the 'The Force Sleeps" (wink wink, nudge nudge, get it!?) pillowcase! This is my favorite item this month. Let Admiral Ackbar protect you while you're catching some zzzz's.

geek-fuel-oct-2015-POP

Yondu Funko Pop - Value $7.50 on Amazon

This is the first POP they've ever included in a box - I hope they do more! This is Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy, and while I have it, it's so easily giftable - so I'm never mad when I get repeat POPs! Now if we could just hurry up and get to the GOTG sequel...

geek-fuel-oct-2015-energy-drink

Guardianade Energy Drink - Value $3-4?

They include an energy drink for all night gaming. This really brings me back, except we used Mountain Dew, and now I can't even imagine how we drank so much of it.

geek-fuel-oct-2015-zombie

Over 9000 Zombies! Game - Value $10

This games looks cool. It's a top-down zombie shooter. Unfortunately, its windows only, so I'll just have to imagine how cool it'd be.

Delorean Time Travel Sticker - Value $5-10?

Happy Back To The Future Day! This sticker of the time travel panel inside the Delorean is completely awesome, but also makes me sad that we don't have hoverboards - yet.

Back To The Future Giveaway

Great Scott! What a great idea and implementation from Geek Fuel! We get a copy of the 'Save The Clock Tower' newspaper, with a phone number to call on the back - and 88 (nicely done) people will win a prize. I wasn't one of the 88 - we're you? It also includes a 'Save The Clock Tower' pin from the first movie as well! Awesome!

Verdict: This was a nicely curated box from Geek Fuel! They're Back To The Future giveaway was really fun to participate in, and the items were great too. This might be my favorite Geek Fuel that I've received - it just fit me perfectly. From the pillowcase to the Funk POP - it was a really strong box with a lot of unique items!

Isn’t that pillow case hilarious?! It took me a second to figure out what it was, but I started having a giggle fit once I “got” it. I do think it’s funny too that I got a pillowcase in two of my subscription boxes this month! Is it weird to have one satin (PSMH) pillowcase next to the Admiral Ackbar case on my bed? I figure they’re both white-ish, so I’m safe. 🙂
