Wet Shave Club Safety Razor - Value $29.99

Genuine Dark Leather Sheath - Value $11.99

Pack of 10 blades - Value $1.79

I'm really impressed by this razor. It's old school, super high quality, and it has a great weight to it. I don't think I even knew leather sheaths existed, but this is really nice.

Wet Shave Club For Men Subscription Box Review + Coupon October 2015 - brush

Satin Tip - The Purest Luxury Synthetic Shaving Brush - Value $14.99

This brush is so luxurious! It's so soft, and it has a great finish and grip on the handle.

Wet Shave Club For Men Subscription Box Review + Coupon October 2015 - soaps

Jackalope Beer Soap in Rosemary Patchouli - Value $7

Local Gent Shaving Co Lime Street Shaving Soap - Value $10

Over the past few years, I have spread my joy of quality soaps to my husband, and he loves both of these! These are great new finds for him! These are both small batch, artisanal soaps, and the rosemary patchouli smells amazing.

Wet Shave Club For Men Subscription Box Review + Coupon October 2015 - brickell

Brickell Men's Products Purifying Charcoal Face Wash - Value $13

Brickell Men's Products Instant Relief After Shave - Value $13

These are both trial sized items, and they are both really nice. The jury is still out on whether my husband will be buying the full size versions of these products. Interestingly enough, Brickell also offers a subscription program on their mens' grooming products!

The Verdict: My husband has really enjoyed his package from Wet Shave Club. The razor and brush are really luxe and high quality! The other four items (what one would receive in a regular monthly shipment) are also very nice, with a retail value of $43, which is good for a $30 box. I don't know if this package has made shaving a pleasure for my husband, but these little luxuries definitely help!

Should try Dollar Shave Club for Men. Hubby gets that and you dont have to get it every month you can have it delivered every couple months nor do you get any fluff other than what you, yourself put in your cart. Razors are inexpensive and a good product, along with the handle which is also inexpensive. Great all the way around, for hubby anyway. Never without blades!

I actually just started getting this for me! It’s geared toward men but even the website states women love it too and I have female friends who use it. I get the mid-level one and it’s great! The handle is solid. I used a free $10 credit Liz had posted about to get my first month plus an extra handle for free and I have it set to ship new blades every other month ($6 for four blades!) since I don’t shave every day, or even every other day in winter. It’s no frills but great quality. You can add on a few things the brand makes for extra cost if you want such as shave butter, which is unisex. They sent me a sample with my first order and it’s nice. Way cheaper than razors like the Venus. I find the handle more substantial too. Why does my razor have to be pink?! As long as it does it’s job, it works for me.

Good job at getting your husband interested in anything sub-box related. The best I can do with my fiance is get him to cook with Raw Spice Bar spices and occasionally eat something out of Love with Food.

LOL Ragan! I know, right? The key is to not buy them anything else. 😉
