$50 a month just seems like too much for a new line of products from a company with questionable integrity. The way Honest handled their sunscreen issue was something that bothered me, and now their omission of ingredient origins, and the way their tried to financially ruin the woman who runs the hilarious Honest Toddler website: as much as I love their packaging and lovely adverts, they aren’t honest and there are better products out there.

You actually don’t have to spend $50 a month. I extend my ship date often and it has been working out really well. Plus it is a pretty good deal when you add up the cost of 3 items, but I guess it depends on the products you normally use. Department store foundation can run almost $50. Also, I have found many skincare products omit ingredients, probably because of their competition. I once was on medicine in which some ingredients were restricted. I used an eye cream which did not list ingredients, so I wrote to the company. When I explained my medical issue with ingredients they confirmed the ingredient was in their product.

I have gotten shipments from The Honest Company for a few years now and I have been happy with everything! I just started the Honest Beauty subscription, and I have to say that it is wonderful, too! The makeup is really great and my skin does look much better now. The $50 a month for 3 items is actually a good deal.

I get a monthly bundle (house stuff) and the past two months my laundry detergent has leaked all over the box. They have acknowledged that this is an issue and replaced it both times. However, I’m getting a little tired of cleaning up the mess. Have delayed my next box and hope they sort this out before it ships. If not, I believe I will be cancelling this subscription.

I just cancelled. Not only have I had leaking products, I went to squirt my stain remover for the first time and the handle broke slicing into my palm. I wrote them and they sent me a new spray top. If I’m tempted to order the bundle again, I’ll look at my palm and reconsider. Also, I read recently that although the products are advertised as “pure”, they may not be. I’m sorry about these things because I liked the products.
