Soo bummed that this is her last box. The last two boxes felt like they were personally made for me.

nothing says ‘endless summer’ about this box. It’s just a random bunch of stuff thrown together with a pretty made up story.
Quarterly is officially the worst.

I too am going to swap the whole box. I really like the thoughts in Rosario’s letter included in the box but I already own doubles of these types of items. apron, cutting boards, etc

What a straight up terrible box, especially for this time of the year. ? Maybe it was taking so long they finally gave up 🙁

Among all of the Quarterly boxes I’ve seen, hers have had some really nice things (Liz, yours were great too). Some of them are wildly over inflated yes, but the Rosario ones at least I feel like were never total washes. Overall with the CONSTANT shipping delays and failures I’m not quite sure how Quarterly stays in business.

I’ve tried a variety of Quarterly boxes and my running favorite has been Nina Garcia. (I did really enjoy the Jesse Kornbluth box, but that was only briefly available.) Nina’s boxes have always had hits and amazing discoveries with only one item that was “meh” worthy and not really for me. (Loved everything in the latest one though.)

Rosario’s boxes always seemed a little odd; granted I wasn’t very impressed with the first one so I stopped paying attention at the point.

As for the shipping issues; when I was doing my sub box binge it was really important to me that everything was on time (as it was easier to track and make sure boxes I paid for actually arrived) so Quarterly drove me a little bonkers. Now that I’ve cut down substantially (just receiving Birchbox and riding out the rest of my OuiPlease annual) I feel more chill about the timing. They don’t charge you until they’re prepping the box and you get tracking when it ships. They’ve improved a lot since they first launched and seem to have taken a lot of customer feedback into account.

Generally, I think of Quarterly boxes as more appropriate for fans of the particular curator and less of a “get $200 of items for $50” subscription deal.

I agree. They are definitely 1 sub I would never try because I just think they are a straight up hassle.
